Clearly, there will always by misogynists, just like there will always be racists. But I don't think it's "in their genes," so to speak, to treat women badly. For example, I'm friends with several guys, and the majority of them are looking for the same thing out of a relationship that I am, and the ones that aren't are either content being single, or looking to have a consensual good time and enjoy their youth.
