Plus, some say Jason still has the mind of a kid when being, whatever type of undead thing he is.

Like Max himself, I can't help but feel sorry for the man.

Frankly, he had every right to be as angry as he was.

The truth is, his reason for being so cruel, is very heartbreaking.
And, in my view, the mayor is the REAL villain of the movie.

His father was a "man trapped in a woman's body" (what is a real thing).
His sister was being abused.
