Has anyone written a good analysis of the Sam/Emily domestic violence situation?

I'm uandishi my own analysis of it, and I'd like to see what others have alisema on the subject.

Critical Analysis of Twilight Majibu

Unless it's something that happened during Breaking Dawn (which I disliked and so only read once), I have absolutely no memory of him abusing her D:

Unless you're talking about him accidentally scratching her when he transformed. If wewe are, that can hardly be called domestic violence! It was an accident :) The two of them were in a forest having an argument, when Emily alisema something that made Sam lose his temper, and begin to transform. He had less than a sekunde to react to what was happening, so he tried to hold his hands up to warn her away. She misunderstood, and thought that he was just trying to tell her to be quiet, so she stepped mbele to continue the argument. When he transformed, he suddenly took up so much zaidi space that his hand (or rather, claw, now that he had transformed), which was still held out to warn her away, scratched her.

When Sam hurts her it wasn't intentional he just couldn't stop himself from doing it. It is alisema in the book that mtu-bweha can't control themselves when they are angry, so Sam can't control his violence, I mean he is a werewolf (or shapeshifter)

Well, it's been a while since I've read Breaking Dawn, but I had the impression that it wasn't like in Animorphs where the human intellect goes out the window and is zaidi like having an excess of testosterone, which is comparable to real world violence.

^Actually, human intellect doesn't go out the window in Animorphs, but I get what you're saying. I thought they kept their human thining abilities as well.

I just meant at the beginning of a morph, they lose their identities to animal instincts unless the morph is capable of inelligent thought.

As far as I know, no, no one's written anything about it. It's surprising really: people always analyze Bella and Edward, and Bella and Jake but they never really go into the other characters.

^There's an makala written about 3 abusive figures in Twilight. The last one is the Sam/Emily thing.
