Was anyone disappointed with the ending?

The last book (forgot the title) had great suspense and nearly took my breath away. Until I got toward the ending.

No one fought. There was simply talking, and then the evil people just left Renesmee alone.

...any comments?

I honestly dread kusoma through battle scenes. They're so boring. I've yet to read a single interesting battle scene.

Anyways, I thought that mental battle was much zaidi interesting. It was like the mental chess game depicted on the cover. It was much zaidi intellectual than ripping each other's heads off..

I understand, though disagree and say I have read great battles. But it seemed as though, mental battle au not, the suspension didn't have a pay off.
