Hi,
The New Moon trailer of in the upcoming sinema section on here. So what the hell,i watched it. I haven't read the book and i'm not going to but i'm curious. Why is everyone wearing red cloaks? Is it a cult?

It is kinda a bit of both answers. All the people in the city are celebrating St. Marcus' day, which ironicly has to do with Wanyonya damu being banished from the city.
In the book it says that some people are wearing red to celebrate, and others are really getting into it dressing up as vampires.
