Well, Mongoose, wewe have inspired me. I enjoyed your inayopendelewa Soundtracks orodha SO MUCH that I will steal your idea and make my own. :)
10) Sleeping Beauty's soundtrack, much like the film itself, is pretty, but a bit lackluster. The songs are sweet and cutesy, but bland. (Just like Aurora, now that I think about it.) The main problem is the gross misplacement of songs; I like "Skumps" as much as anyone else, but did the two kings really need a song? Why didn't the vichimbakazi get a song? au Maleficent? Maleficent deserves a hell of a good villain song, and for that reason, Sleeping Beauty has (once again) found herself on the bottom of my list.
inayopendelewa Song: "I Wonder"
Least Favorite:"Once Upon a Dream"
9) I adore cinderella as a film and a character, but I find the soundtrack to be miles ahead of Sleeping Beauty, but miles below the inayofuata princess on the list. The songs are sweet and heartfelt and beautiful, but they all fit into one mold. Once again, there are no villain songs, and listening to those little mice screech in "The Work Song" tends to grate on me. Once again, the film is among my favorites, but wewe won't catch me listening to the cinderella soundtrack on my iPod anytime soon.
inayopendelewa Song: Sing, Sweet Nightingale
Least inayopendelewa Song: The Work Song
8) Allow me to explain before wewe start pelting me with hot garbage: I just didn't care for the songs in Tangled. It isn't that they were bad; they weren't. Mandy Moore has an incredible imba voice, as do the rest of the cast. However, the songs themselves were... forgettable. If wewe took away the great vocals, the songs themselves would disappear from memory entirely in my opinion. So not bad enough to be memorable, not good enough to note... just bland enough to ignore.
inayopendelewa Song: I've Got a Dream
Least inayopendelewa Song: Mother Knows Best
7) I genuinely enjoy the songs from Snow White in the context of the movie; there's a good range of songs, most of them are upbeat and pleasant, and they songesha the story along well. However, I just can't imagine walking around my college campus listening to Snow White's thin, grating little soprano warbling in my ear. Thus, the Snow White soundtrack has found itself planted in the middle: for movie purposes only.
inayopendelewa Song: One Song
Least inayopendelewa Song: Someday My Prince will Come
6) The Mulan Soundtrack is excellent. I enjoy many of the songs, particularly (of course), "I'll Make a Man Out of You," which is the best song to work out to since "Make My Day" kwa the Soda Club. For whatever reason, it's just not my favorite. I like it a lot, but not nearly as much as the others on this list.
inayopendelewa Song: "I'll Make a Man Out of You"
Least inayopendelewa Song: "A Girl Worth Fighting For"
5) Aladin is this low purely because I have no interest in listening to it outside of watching the film. The songs are outstanding; there's a good range of songs, there's a kick-ass villain song (which goes a long way with me), and the vocals are awesome. However, the entire "Aladdin" soundtrack has become remarkably like everything Lady Gaga has ever done: spectacular, but so overdone that wewe die a little inside every time wewe have to hear it. Thus, Aladin is confined to the middle.
inayopendelewa Song: "Friend Like Me"
Least inayopendelewa Song: "A Whole New World"
4) Funny that one of my inayopendelewa soundtracks should come from one of my least inayopendelewa movies. I don't care to watch "Pocahontas" zaidi than once a mwaka au so, but I could listen to it every week. The sweeping instrumentals, the tense, powerful songs, and the outstanding lyrics are among Disney's best. Even David Ogden Stiers' melodramatic crooning can't offset this soundtrack's brilliance, and that, my friend, is an impressive feat.
inayopendelewa Song: Savages, Pt. 2
Least inayopendelewa Song: Mine Mine Mine
3) Beauty and the Beast is nearly a perfect movie. The characters are amazing, the plot is fantastic, and the muziki is well-performed, well-placed, well-thought out, and well-executed. The Beauty and the Beast Soundtrack is a prime example of this film's dedication to absolute brilliance, and it shows that when Disney has its head in the game, it is truly a force to be reckoned with in the muziki department.
inayopendelewa Song: "Belle Reprise"
Least inayopendelewa Song: "Gaston"
2) Oh yeah. Be surprised. Unlike the other 90% of the world, I found the muziki for "The Princess and the Frog" to be high spirited, theatrical, and true to its Bayou roots. Having grown up in the South and having spent lots of time in New Orleans, this muziki sounds like nyumbani to me; it ranges from mellow jazz to full on Gospel, and there's nothing I upendo zaidi than a good showstopping musical number. "The Princess and the Frog" soundtrack absolutely wreaks of free-spirited New Orleans fun, and it would be my favorite... if only it weren't for my number one pick....
inayopendelewa Song: Down in New Orleans
Least inayopendelewa Song: When We're Human
1) The Little Mermaid Soundtrack has not one, not two, but three of my all time inayopendelewa songs, a feat that none of the other soundtracks can accomplish. It's no wonder that with muziki like this and characters like these, "The Little Mermaid" zaidi au less single-handedly began the Disney Renaissance.
inayopendelewa Song: Kiss the Girl
Least inayopendelewa Song: Fathoms Below
