It's time to stop making excuses for Disney. It's time to stop congratulating Disney for including a line of Oaken saying hi to his family, briefly inaonyesha them with the small possibility that that's his husband in the sauna, and then calling Frozen revolutionary. Time to stop congratulating Disney over having Elsa, a character that shows no signs whatsoever of being LGBTQA+, just because she doesn't onyesha any signs of being straight either. The fact of the matter is that Disney is the largest, most influential uhuishaji company in the entire world, heck, it's one of the largest companies in general in the whole world, uhuishaji aside, and we need to expect zaidi from them.

I often hear people say, "But the world isn't ready!" Guess what, the world's never going to be 100% ready! If we keep making that excuse then we're never going to see a LGBTQA+ princess. It's going to be 2050 and there's still gonna be homophobes out there and people are still gonna be saying "But the world isn't ready!" The fact of the matter is that we live in a very open world, much zaidi open than how it's ever been in the past. We still have so much work to do, but we're getting somewhere. I think now zaidi than ever seeing an LGBTQA+ princess would make sense. We're in a transition period right now and having Disney be a part of that would be such a huge step.

Would Disney probably lose viewers from this? Yeah, without a doubt. But I'm sure as hell that they'd gain just as many if not zaidi if they did this. And honestly, let's be real, Disney isn't going to actually lose money on a princess movie. Even if people who don't support LGBTQA+ people didn't see the movie there would still be zaidi than enough people seeing it to at least get their profits back. With that we'd also be getting a conversation started, kids accepting themselves, kids learning about other sexualities, and if Disney has to lose a few bucks over that I really think it's worth it.

Representation is so important. It really is. I myself am gay and if I was exposed to a gay princess when I was young that would've been so helpful in learning to accept myself. Where in the media do we see LGBTQA+ characters? In the media they're starting to pop up, slowly but surely, but zaidi often than not they're so stereotypical and just further gay stereotypes. Having a realistic, fleshed out character whose movie doesn't just focus on her sexuality, but treats her as a real person with a life outside of her sexuality would be so so important.

If kids go their entire childhood without having any exposure to LGBTQA+ characters, it just allows them to start to grow feelings of homophobia. They grow up their whole life hardly ever seeing LGBTQA+ characters in the media so it becomes taboo to them, it becomes wrong, it becomes weird, it becomes different. If kids grow up watching Disney sinema and see a LGBTQA+ princess I'm sure that they'd be zaidi open to the concept. They'd realize, "Hey, Princess *insert name here* is gay and she's awesome, so maybe it isn't so bad!"

So yeah, that's about it! Sorry for dominating the makala space lately, I just have a lot to say I suppose ^^ kwa the way I don't mind if wewe disagree with me, but please save the homophobic comments, I really don't wanna hear them. Have a good day~~!

It is no secret the Disney’s Princess franchise is one of the most lucrative for young children today. It is the number one girls’ toy brand in the US and made profits of $4 billion in worldwide sales. Therefore, these characters are going to be role models for countless girls across the world. I want to look at what lessons children can take from these characters and stories that will be positive and why each of these characters can be a positive role model to girls- and boys, for that matter- of any age.

I thought to myself: Why just restrict yourself to their singing? I mean, wewe have nothing better to do except that entry to that dA contest wewe keep procrastinating.
All the princesses, sadly, have American accents. Even though most of them aren't American. Goddamnit. Would it kill for Belle to have a sweet French accent and Aurora to have a German one? Jus' sayin'.
Anyway, yes, speaking voices. This took some thought. On with the countdown!
Go find your own fucking swearing warning.

I did not make up this poem. I found it on Youtube and I thought it was really cute. I just wanted to share. Hope wewe enjoy!

cinderella walked on broken glass

Aurora let a whole lifetime pass

Belle fell in upendo with a hideous beast

Pocahontas risked her life for a feast

jimmy, hunitumia could have chose anyone instead she chose a poor man

Ariel walked on land all for upendo and for life

We come to upendo not kwa finding a perfect person, but kwa learning to see an unperfect person perfectly.
