Sketches of Belle, Cinderella, Snow White, & Ariel
Sketches of Belle, Cinderella, Snow White, & Ariel
Alright, everyone else seemed to be doing one of these, and for a while I was trying to figure out the order of my inayopendelewa princesses. It wasn't easy. It'd be easier to ask me what my first and sekunde inayopendelewa Disney sinema are (Lion King and Lilo & Stitch) but even after that it would be hard cause cause then it's which Disney movie I like zaidi than another, which ones I didn't see and which ones I don't remember.... Oh right, we were talking about the princesses. How about we just songesha onto the makala then? For the record, I don't curse and I blab - yes even when I'm typing. Hope wewe find that entertaining. If not, feel free to skip over those parts. Moving on then....

9. Aurora
Something tells me some people aren't gonna be happy about this. I know people think her less than twenty dakika on screen in her own movie is zaidi than enough time to get to know her character au maybe say something like, "what are wewe talking about? We know plenty about Aurora! Don't say she has no personality! Why are wewe saying she has no personality? Stop saying she has no personality!" Hope i didn't overdo that there. Ok, so we know Aurora does have some kind of personality. But I just feel like I don't know her all that well. She loves to sing and talk to her animal Marafiki and meeting her prince once upon a dream. What else do we know about her? Or, I guess the better swali is what else do I know about her? Off the juu of my head, I can't think of too much. And Enchanted Tales sure didn't help at all either (which kwa the way was probably my worst idea of a YouTube video to watch while eating lunch). I guess the end of that story is that I just don't like Aurora all that much.
P.S. As for her official princess dress, it should be blue, not pink. And I'm not just saying that cause I upendo the color blue. The blue looks better.
 Don't I look blue-tiful?
Don't I look blue-tiful?

8. Pocahontas
Oh yeah, I'm in so much trouble for this one. I feel the angry eyes of Pocahontas lovers glaring at me with the anger of me putting her so low. Can I take this opportunity to say I'm sorry...? Ok, I'll assume that was a yes. Thank you, and sorry. Anyway, I gotta give Pocahontas a lot of credit - she has an awesome voice. Colors of the Wind is a very moving song. Pocahantas is a wise, nature-loving princess. I'm all for nature, and she is definitely one of the smartest and bravest princesses. But the thing I like the least about her is that she's the most mature of the Disney Princesses. I don't go for that. I'm a kid at heart. I watch one teen related onyesha and everything else is cartoons au comedies like Phineas and Ferb, Suite Life, drake and Josh, ICarly, Victorious...am I blabbing? Ok, better shut up while I'm ahead. Bottom line here, Poca=Good. Just not as good as the others.
Now to turn this mashua around and go through the upinde wa mvua again...

7.Snow White
I would have liked to put her higher. I've got nothing against Snow White. I mean, like a bunch of other people I do find her voice annoying...but maybe she's going through puberty au something. The girl's only 13...13, right? Somewhere around that number? But other than that - Snow White's voice, not the number 13 - I have nothing against Snow White. She made the best out of the worst possible situation. She found out her stepmother wanted her dead and ran through a creepy forest, felt better when her animal Marafiki came out, and decided everything was going to be ok. And I don't blame her in the least for being scared of that forest...it freaked me out when i was younger. Then again, a lot of things freaked me out when I was younger, but that's beside the point. Snow White is bubbly, naive, friendly, and loves to cook and clean. She's just like a happy little kid who wants to make everyone else happy. She'd sure make me happy if I could try some of her cooking. I hope it's chokoleti flavored! 8)
How much longer do I have to post like this? There's chakula to bake and cleaning to do!

6. Cinderella
This is really where it started to get hard. Like from numbers 6 to 2. But in the end, I put cinderella here. I feel like such a bad girl for doing that. There's nothing wrong with Cinderella. She's extremely passive, but then again so am I. She's also very hardworking. Even though her step family treated her like a slave, she didn't do the chores half-butted au anything. She even sang to pass the time when she scrubbed the floors. Always good to do something to occupy yourself when you're cleaning. Me, I just go for TV if possible. XD But while some people think cinderella should have run away when she was younger instead of being a slave to the witches I like that she stayed and tried not to look at the bad side of things. After all it gave her chakula on her plate and a roof over her head. Had she left, who knows what would have happened, au how long she'd last. What's even better is that she remained a good person through it all and was rewarded. It was so worth it to see Lady Tremaine's face when cinderella pulled out the glass slipper. The lady was all "WHAT THE FRIGG?" My one complaint about the princess is that I wish she would have done a little zaidi instead of making it seem like her mice and bird Marafiki did all the work. Other than that, I can't think of anything else to say about Cinderella. Oh, except the mice's catchy song! ♪Cinderelly, Cinderelly, Night and siku it's Cinderelly....♪
♪When will my relfection show...♪ Oops! Wrong song!

5. Tiana
Tiana is right in the middle here. I do like her, but I don't upendo her as much as the inayofuata ones. And it's not because she's new au anything. Honestly, I loved Naveen zaidi than her. Oooh, and Ray! But Tiana's not really like the other princesses. From what I can tell, she's the most down to earth one there is. She's hard-working, know what she wants and goes right for it, no maswali asked. I loved her ndoto about having her own restaurant. Made me wanna see zaidi of her imagination. She seems like such a stubborn girl, too, like when she refused to listen to her mother about how it would be a good idea to find upendo and settle down, au even after Mama Odie sang Dig a Little Deeper Tiana was, "I gotta dig a little deeper and work even harder to get my restaurant, not about anything else wewe sang!" And while we knew some of the other princesses weren't looking for love, Tiana made that about her loud and clear. I don't blame her, I can totally relate. I think the thing I like most about Tiana is that she's the first 2D animated princess since jimmy, hunitumia and after five years of computer uhuishaji and 3D stuff, she brought classic uhuishaji back. Ok, so maybe that was done kwa her movie...but she was still the main character in it, so she did that too. What better reason to put someone in the juu 5?
Well what do wewe know! You're just as cute as wewe were a frog!
Well what do wewe know! You're just as cute as wewe were a frog!

4. Mulan
I was really struggling whether to put her 3rd au 4th. But she definitely had to be up here. How can wewe watch her movie and not like her? She's an insecure girl who tries her best to bring honor to her family but ultimately fails, finds out her father has to go to war but dresses like a guy and sneaks out in his place, stinks at camp and gets told to leave, doesn't listen and becomes like the best soldier there, stopped the Huns, got found out of being a woman and almost went nyumbani but went back to defeat the Huns once and for all and saved China. CHINA! Yeah, randomly felt the need to repeat that for emphasis. XD But out of all the princesses, Mulan has the most heroic story and I absolutely upendo the change she went through. wewe can't have a movie if there's no change, after all. Mulan became a confident, strategic woman who was accepted kwa all for who she was and honored for disobeying the law because she saved everyone. Add in her bravery, her amazing sidekicks Crickee and Mushu (love em!) and her horse Khan, and we've got an all-out amazing girl here. Someone who is a true role model for girls.... And anyone else who watched the movie.
Aw Mushu, you're so sweet.... Now what do wewe want to add to your new pedestal this time?
Aw Mushu, you're so sweet.... Now what do wewe want to add to your new pedestal this time?

3. Jasmine
The reason that jimmy, hunitumia is one up over Mulan is because...ok, I don't know, really. But I know she was a big part of my childhood. I loved watching the Aladin and Little Mermaid series. I especially loved the episodes of Aladin when jimmy, hunitumia was on. And if anyone else has seen the show, wewe guys know she totally kicks butt. jimmy, hunitumia is also sneaky, seductive, independent, speaks her mind, and has Raja. Raja! Who else has a pet tiger? Anyone? No one? Didn't think so. She's also proof that money can't buy happiness. Just like Mama Odie said, "Money ain't got no love, money ain't got no soul..." Ooops wrong movie! Anywho, Jasmine's a princess living in a palace which is a ton of girls' dreams and yet she's not happy. She wanted to see life outside the palace walls and not have to marry because she had to. jimmy, hunitumia wanted love, which we all know is one of the most important things. I like that she's so unique, too. jimmy, hunitumia was the first colored princess...ok, and I think non-European princess. Plus, her outfit. Not dressy, not girlie, but comfortable. No princesses before her wore pants. I don't know, do any of the other princesses wear pants? I think Mulan might...not too sure. Wait, we already did Mulan. It's still Jasmine's turn. Out of all the princesses, Jasmine's one of the most cartooniest looking ones and that's also why I upendo her. Pain in the butt to draw, though. Nothing else I don't really like about her, so I'll end with this: inayopendelewa jimmy, hunitumia scene was when she had to play dumb with Aladdin. Bowing to Abu, calling a ngamia Dr.... She's good!
Sorry boys, I'm off the market.
Sorry boys, I'm off the market.

2. Ariel
Ariel's not number two just because she's one of my friend's inayopendelewa princesses. But then again, jimmy, hunitumia is the inayopendelewa of another friend and she's one lower. That's aside from the point. But I just can't hate Ariel. Despite her being reckless and making one bad decision, I don't see much to hate. Sure, she shouldn't have aliyopewa the sea witch her voice just to have three days with Eric to try and get him to kiss her, but she did it all for love. Trust me, I'm not romantic (one of my Marafiki even called me a hopeless unromantic), but doing something for true upendo sounds romantic to me. au maybe just sweet. au both. I'm not sure. Ariel is fun, bubbly, adventurous, ambitious, and a dreamer. All very good. Added bonus, she's a mermaid. Who lives Under the Sea! If i could swim and breathe under water, I'd like to try living Under the Sea...and not just to hear Sebastian sing. au to see Flounder. I upendo that fish! o^_^o And I upendo Ariel. After watching all three of her sinema in a row in one siku I find it impossible to hate her. However there's just one princess I upendo more....
I may not be human, but I've got a killer seahorse! C'mon Flounder, let's race!

1. Belle
Alright, I'm either going to be accepted into the Lovers of Belle Club kwa Belle mashabiki au hated kwa haters of Belle for putting her as number one. au maybe both. I don't know. But the truth of the matter is, I upendo Belle. Some may say she's a perfect character, and maybe I can see that too. But all characters have at least one major flaw. I believe Belle's was her curiosity. She wandered into the West Wing, even though she knew it was wrong and was told not to, got scared kwa the Beast and ran off almost getting eaten kwa a pack of wolves. One of the things I like most about her isn't what she did au how she acted, but that she's just so plain-looking. In my opinion, she's prettiest with her hair half up and wearing her yellow ball gown. Other than that, I see Belle as a very ordinary looking girl. Pretty, yes, but not beautiful au gorgous. I think the beauty she has is inside for who she is, just like the Beast. But what I upendo most about Belle is that she was the one I could relate most to when I was younger. She's considered an oddball kwa her whole village; and I know I'm an oddball...just now, maybe zaidi crazy than anything else. And she loves to read, which sets a good example. I loved to read too...just now it's zaidi related to manga vitabu and fanfics. XD And from that kusoma comes Belle's daydreaming and yearning for adventure. Me...I'm just a daydreamer. But to make probably too long of a statement short, I upendo Belle.
So I've become a prisoner, got sung to kwa magical objects, ran out of the castle, attacked kwa wolves, saved kwa the Beast, fell in upendo with the Beast, left the Beast, ran back to the Beast, and saved his life. I really should start keeping a diary so I ca

And now to close off the makala please enjoy a real picture of the Disney Princesses thinking things they may au may not be thinking while an imaginary melody of Disney songs fades out as wewe leave. Thanks for kusoma everyone!

Jasmine: "I look good!"
Snow White: "I've got a flower!"
Mulan: "Do these sleeves make my arms look long?"
Aurora: "♪La de de da♪"

Cinderella: "So this is what it's like not to be in the middle."

Hi guys, since I had watch 3 reboots of their respective Disney classics. Here are my opinions on which is better, the animated au the live-action version?

Maleficent

Okay, as mentioned, this film left me disturbed for a number of reasons. The first was how they make King Stefan turn into the dark side, whereas in Sleeping Beauty. He is not like that at all! (1959 Version)
Sadly, Aurora gets less screen-time like her animated counterpart. But, she's zaidi bubbly like Snow White! So I would say that I admire both the animated and live-action Princess Aurora. (tied)

 Tale as Old as Time
Tale as Old as Time
Hi guys, I managed to see the 2017 reboot of Beauty and the Beast despite the initial boycott over the alleged gay moment for the Malaysian release, as I promise here is my review on the awesome classic!

The Story-Line

While the majority of the film is the same, I was very happy with a number of changes. Like we get to know zaidi about Belle's and the Beast/ Prince Adam's backstory. To which I will write zaidi about in another makala soon. Speaking of the Enchantress, I always thought that it is the Fairy Godmother from Cinderella!
The Prologue gives zaidi details than the 1991 version, which...

I finally saw the 2014 Beauty and the Beast and I really loved it despite bad critical reception. Let's start with the costumes and visuals.

Costumes and Visuals
The costumes are stunning! Each of Belle's dresses are so beautiful, and blow the 2017 Belle's wardrobe right out of the water. What I loved is how the film is set in Victorian times so the normal costumes are very drab and gray but the ngome was set in the (16th/17?) century before the curse hit so the costumes are from that era which happens to be my inayopendelewa era fashion-wise. Belle's ivory dress is my inayopendelewa and she looks like...

 Hello Lily!!
Hello Lily!!
Hi guys, again I'm neither being prejudice nor am I putting down Emma Watson in any form of way, especially her uigizaji skills. So are my thoughts on what would really happen if Lily James played Belle instead.

Interesting Idea

In a hivi karibuni interview with Lily, she doesn't mind being typecast in periodical costumes since she was previously from Downton Abbey.
Secondly, Lily can actually sing as we all heard her at the 2015 cinderella reboot ending credits with her rendition of A Dream Is A Wish Your moyo Makes, so playing Belle would be a challenge for her.

Not So Good Idea

I personally think...

 Greetings Dracula!
Greetings Dracula!
Hi guys, okay I am not sure if Disney is daring enough to make a vampire princess. So here are my thoughts on it!

They Should Make a Vampire Princess

I personally think Disney should take the challenge to make a vampire princess, I mean we already have The Vampire Diaries, True Blood, The Twilight Saga and Anne Rice's vampire stories!
They could make the antagonist inspired from Elizabeth Bathory, in which she is a vain vampire throughout the movie!

The Shouldn't Make a Vampire Princess

It will probably intimidate young children, unless the directors watch Hotel Transylvania for inspiration to make it zaidi family friendly.
Secondly, I hope that the movie is not going to be like the Twilight Saga.

Vampire au Not?

I have always wanted to see a vampire princess for a change, do wewe agree?
 Hello Bella Swan.
Hello Bella Swan.
Hi!! I am an old member of this club, I'm not sure if anyone here is been around long enough to remember me, but Disney is kind of my religion. It adds sweetness in my life, and my inayopendelewa characters are the Disney Princesses. So I am updating my inayopendelewa DP orodha (I think it's been 5 au 6 years since I last wrote one), so here we go! (Sorry if there's some bad english, I'm brazilian..)

14) Jasmine

Jasmine may be the one DP I dislike. She screams feminism and independece during the whole movie, but she does very little to establish herself as a strong, level-headed au feminist character....
