Buh....this is hard too. Beast has more people to talk to, but no one he can really relate to. Belle has less people to talk to, but she seemed friendly enough with the librarian and she can certainly talk to her father.

She has her dad. Sure, Beast has his servants but he doesn't have much conversations with them or anything

at least Belle has her father. Beast has no one but talking appliances that avoid him 24/7.

Since no one has really given a reason for Belle, I think I should make an attempt.

I think it's far lonelier to be surrounded by people who really want nothing to do with you, than to be surrounded by nobody period. And the Beast wasn't truly lonely; he did still have his enchanted servants, who, from what I could tell, didn't hate him. He may not have been able to relate to them, but he still had them. All Belle truly has is her father and there's only so much companionship to be gained from such a relationship.

At least Belle had her Father...the Beast really didn't have anyone...you can be surrounded by a sea of people, but by having nothing in common with them you can be extremly lonely.

All she has is Maurice and maybe the bookshop guy. At least Beast, from what we saw, got long well with his servants.

The beast has friends, but they don't really love him. Whereas Belle has her father who loves her.
