if you're wondering why I didn't include Snow White, Cinderella, or Aurora, this is because they didn't really face any dangers in their movies like the rest of the princesses did

I mean because here's the thing: she stood up and fought against Mother Gothel after the shock that the one she has been living with for 18 years wasn't ur mother and that woman only loved her for her hair only. But more important that she made the bravest decision ever she sacrificed her own freedom for Flynn. In my opinion she is my bravest princess

I agree with sheep2901 - never mind the fact that she somehow managed to overcome years of abuse and somehow managed to leave the tower in the first place. With all the fears Mother Gothel instilled in her, it's a wonder she managed to keep going - and to stand up to Mother Gothel when she found her first. It's next to impossible to overcome years of conditioning.
And I wouldn't agree that Snow white didn't face any dangers - she had to flee into the dark forest after the hunter tried to kill her.
(And why Pocahonts? She didn't even had to face the villain!)

Lol not rapunzel hello, Mulan went to WAR!!

She went up to some huge buff dude with a sword, pointed their LAST cannon at a mountaintop, and pretty much almost killed herself trying to save China. None of the others even come close.

Oh, I don't disagree there - Mulan and Rapunzel are more or less on the same level for me, and since Mulan already got so many votes, I decided to speak out for Rapunzel, since I think that she is the one who has more inner strength, while Mulan shows more outright bravery in desperate situations.

@Swanpride yeah Snow White ran into a scary forest but she wasn't exactly being brave about it, didn't she end up breaking down and crying? Also Pocahontas was willing to sacrifice herself in order to save the man she loved and she did this in front of her people and the white men who were not exactly hesitating to kill each other

All of these princesses listed are brave, really, but I think Cinderella is too. (in an emotional aspect)

I think they're all brave on different levels :)

It's kind of the same reason as Rapunzel. I think it takes a lot of courage and self perseverance to stay optimistic and to not break down in front of her stepfamily. Sure, she had one weak moment right before the fairy godmother, but every one does every once in a while; it's what makes us human. It seriously takes a lot of emotional strength to stay sane and as well-put together as she did; most people would crack under all of that emotional abuse. It's not outward bravery like in Mulan's case, but it speaks volumes to me.

@BB2010 Well, what would you do if your stepmother tries to kill you and you are lost in a dark forest, after having been barely out of the castle for your whole life? I would be break down to. But then Snow White put herself together, thought her situation through, and asked her forest friends for a place to stay. What Snow White did was more or less the medival equivalent to witness protection.
Really, the only one who lucked out is Aurora - not because she isn't brave, but because she didn't have a lot of opportunity to show bravery, having been shielded by the three fairies her whole live.
I agree with ppgbelle4 about Cinderella - the only reason I think that Rapunzel is braver than her (or at least shows more inner strength) is that Cinderella knew exactly what her stepmother was doing. It's easier to break someone with kindness than with constant pressure. (Although I suspect that Cinderella would be able to withstand that too - we just never get to see it).

& then Mulan. I don't think Rapunzel - she's brave, but not the bravest.

i think they all at some point had to be brave but she was the bravest. she risked her life and went against her dad that took guts

Seriously, when did Pocahontas risk her live? Her father would hardly kill her, would he?

^again...she did this in front of two races who were about ready to kill each other, one of which was led by a guy who was gonna have his men attack after the other leader practically waved the white flag

@BB2010 But she didn't know that Ratcliff would shoot, no matter what. And the only "enemy" she faced directly was her father - who certainly wouldn't do anything to her. Not that she wasn't brave, but compared to withstand years of abuse, or running in the direction of a charging army set to kill you, or giving up the own freedom for the sake of someone else or being a slave and having to distract a dangerous power hungry magician or swimming into a burning ship, she had it fairly easy. (Never mind that she wouldn't had to run between those armies at all if she had spoken up earlier).

even if she didn't know he was going to shoot she still knew both sides were intent on killing each other and besides she showed some bravery in the sequel too so...

Pocahontas isn't brave at all, they are all BUT Aurora and Pocahontas, pretty brave! Mulan is the obvious choice, but Rapunzel is also a very strong choice. They are all brave
