I watched an adaptation of Thumbelina once...
Let's just put it at Barbie's adaptation was more tolerable than the one I tried watching. Heck, I had to stop 40 minutes in it was so horrible. That was the first, and ONLY movie I had to literally stop watching due to it being so bad. I'd like to see how Disney would take it!

So, you have watched the Barbie version of Thumbelina? This version was different and have a different plot compared to the original fairytale by Hans Christian Andersen. I think Disney will adapt the Andersen version with some changes to the plot like making her a fairy at the end after marrying the fairy prince or something different.

Or Hansel and Gretel, or Heidi.

I honestly have my doubts that Disney would do their own version of Puss in Boots, seeing as Dreamworks already has their own version of the title character and has made him pretty famous, but to the best of my knowledge, I don't think Dreamworks has actually made a movie adaptation of the original story? I know they've done a film that's actually titled "Puss in Boots" but it has a very different storyline to the traditional tale. So maybe.

Even so, no matter how unlikely it is, I would enjoy seeing Disney tackle that one.

@Nect I realize that. The horrible version I watched was more true to the story, but as I said, I never finished the movie. (I'm not saying Thumbelina is a bad story, just the adaptation was bad)
