​and releasing his own bloody movie, Ed Sheeran has finally made his 

​cameo and it\'s the air that we breathe. It\'s given us SO. MUCH. LIFE.

So it was announced earlier this year that Ed Sheeran would be making a guest appearance on the Australian soap after confessing his love for the show, and the time has finally come for it to air - and it\'s amazing.

In the episode, Ed plays \'Teddy\', a singer who Marilyn Chambers (played by Emily Symons) used to look after when she lived in the UK. Ed is seen walking into a cafe in Summer Bay, where he is reunited with his former nanny.

He\'s then persuaded to get his guitar out and plays an intimate gig to a delighted crowd at Angelo\'s bar. Presumably acting like they were thrilled to be there was the easiest bit of work the cast have ever done. Thoughts?

​It\'s an Australian institution. It\'s always on in my local chip shop.I got asked to do it and it sounded like it could be fun. I did Shortland Street in New Zealand as well and I\'m sure if Emmerdale or EastEnders ever ask me in England I would do that as well."
