the plane whirred outside. it was packed with everyone's luggage.
it was july 1, 1:15 in the evening.
everyone was in the field, kwa a gravestone marked, "SOPHIA."
they took turns saying their goodbyes, thanking sophie for helping them, and thanking her for not killing them.
rune and shine stayed behind. they were still good Marafiki from whn they had met sophie.

"bye," sophie said, smiling, though she was trying to keep in her sorrow. "bye," rune and shine alisema in unison.
"let me just say that wewe two are my only real friends. in life and after it. i realy hope wewe two die early so we can be together," sopie said.
"that's a little freaky," shine said, backing away.
"you know what i mean," sophie said, "dont try to get killed, just,"
"we know what wewe mean," rune said
"hurry up, sophia!" called john. he and abigail sat farther out in the field, waiting for their daughter.
"RUNE, SHINE, C'MON!!!" kowalski called from the plane.
"i best be going," sopie said.
"go," rune said.
sophie turned around and ran to her parents. she hugged them. sophie turned around and waved to une and shine. then she and her parents faded into the wind, moving on to somewhere better.
"good bye, my friend!" shine called.
"Auf Wiedersehen, Mein freund," rune called, as the two girls turned around. they ran onto the plane, just as it was taking off, knowing their friend was still with them.
