“How is he?” Derek asked as soon as Damon and Elena entered the Boarding House.
“I’m right here” Damon said. He walked to the kitanda and sank down. Elena sat down inayofuata to him and looked at Derek. “Hey, could wewe go and get some blood”
“Yeah, sure” Derek nodded and he rushed to the basement.
“You feeling better?” Elena asked concerned, taking Damon’s hand.
“I’m fine” Damon alisema short. “Why were wewe in the hospital?”
Elena looked away. Then she looked back. “Who told wewe that?”
“Who do wewe think?” Damon smirked. “He told me not to come, but I’m a little pigheaded”
Elena raised one eyebrow.
“Okay, very” Damon admitted.
“Is that how that accident happened?” Elena asked. Damon nodded. “You should’ve listened to Ric” Elena continued a little reproachful.
“Yeah” Damon alisema soft. “Elena, I’m sorry…for attacking you”
“Damon-” Elena wanted to interrupt, but Damon cut her off.
“Just let me say this” Damon said. “I’m sorry for uigizaji so jealous, for hurting you, for drinking your blood”
They heard a deep sigh and rotated their heads. “For crying out loud, wewe did not steal Elena’s blood” Derek exclaimed. He walked towards the couple and sank down on the couch. “Rebekah compelled wewe to think wewe attacked her and Katherine compelled Elena to believe the same. And Katherine drained your blood. I don’t know what for, but she did”
Damon and Elena shared a glance, but before they could discuss Elena’s phone rang. She pulled it out and looked at the screen.
“Elena Gilbert speaking”
“Miss Gilbert, I need wewe to come back to the hospital. We have to start looking for a cure. If we can find a matching donor we can stop the leukemia from disseminating”
Elena hung up and stared at Damon. The shocked expression on his face told her he had heard everything.
