we go there every year, and it's cold, and I'm forced to ski.
the only plus is the 12-hour roadtrip there and back ;)

and alex, yes there is (Lapland in HDM). Lapland is the collective name for most of northern Finland, Sweden and Norway. It's basically a hugeass arctic tundra type thing with a few randok backwater towns stuffed in. (HDM trivia: Svalbard [the place with the panserbjørne palace] is an actual existing place in Norway).
we go up to Lapland every winter break -_- and before you ask, yes, aurora borealis are real; no, I've never seen them.
