They arrived at the Hotel and everybody got a single room. After Lisa got a kuoga and put on her maua, ua power dress she went downstairs into the restaurant where Hugh and David were already waiting for her.
“You have to taste the lobster, it´s fantastic.”, David alisema to her as she sat down inayofuata to him and in front of Hugh.
Lisa froned her forehead. “Ahm, well….maybe I try to taste something else.”
“What did wewe order?”, she asked Hugh even though she knew exactly that he wasn´t an vegetarian.
“Just an ordinary Clubsandwich.”, he answered meanwhile she studied the menu.
“Toast á la Provance sounds good.”
Hugh gave a sign to the Waiter, so she could order her chakula and one of those fancy cocktails they offered as well.
After chajio, chakula cha jioni Mike came around and jiunge them.
“Hey Mike. Ready for tomorrow?”, David asked.
“Hm, yes. Hopefully it doesn´t rain.”
“Where are the others?”, David asked again.
“Don´t know. Maybe they went to the bar.”
“Bar sounds good.”, Hugh alisema with big grin on his face.
“Don´t forget about tomorrow Hugh. wewe have to get up at 6 o´clock.”, David worried a little.
“No Prob Boss. Don´t worry. Who want some bia at the bar?”
“You pay for a round?”, Lisa asked very provocative.
Hugh grined devlish. “Depends on what wewe want to give back?”
She smiled.
Mike coughed and gave them both a serious look.
“I´m with you. David?”, Mike alisema and tried to interrupt these strangely moment.
“Fine let´s go.”, Hugh got off and went to the exit.
Lisa followed him as did David and Mike.
“Hm, sorry guys. I had to phone my wife and then…..i´m very tired, think it´ll be a hard siku tomorrow.”, David alisema and went upstairs to his room.
“Ok then. It´s just us three….let´s go.”, Lisa alisema and went straight towards the bar, which was on the opposite side of the restaurant inside the hotel. They sat down at the counter and ordered some drinks. Hugh had an bia as did Mike and Lisa got another cocktail who´s called Fallen Angel. “How long do wewe know David already?”, Hugh asked Mike.
“Oh, ahm..we met 3 years zamani in New York. I had a shooting there for Cosmopolitan.”
“And what about the shooting tomorrow? Do wewe know where are we going?”, he asked further.
“ We´ll go to the Med School and make some outdoor shootings and then I have to do some picha from the student rooms and so on.”
Mike drank very fast and ordered just a new beer.
“So, if it´s raining tomorrow we do the outdoor shooting the other siku or?”, Lisa asked.
“Yes, but I hope not.”, Mike answered and gave her a huge smile.
“Well guys, excuse me….i have to do a phone call. I´ll be back in 10 maybe 15.”, Hugh alisema quickly and went outside. Lisa gaze after him with dreamy eyes.
“You like him a lot right?”
“What?”, she was just a little confused.
“You like him, or?”, Mike asked anew.
“He´s a really cute person. Yes, i´m glad that we´re working together. He´s a very great actor kwa the way.”, she alisema and tried not to say too much about her feelings.
“Ah, well. wewe both are looking good together. So, he´s married isn´t he?”
“Yay.”
“And you´re in upendo with him?”
“Are wewe nuts Photoguy? We´re friends. What´s your problem?”, she alisema and her voice sounds just a bit pissed off. Mike starts laughing.
“Ohh, sorry Lady. I thought wewe know about how wewe feel. I didn´t want wewe to get angry.”
“How about I feel?”, she thought, “How do I feel?”
“We´re friends.”, she alisema and ordered a new cocktail. This time a bourbon Blue.
“Don´t forget about the shooting tomorrow. If wewe don´t stop drinking so hard wewe would have an hung over.”, Mike alisema with an warning but also worried voice.
She raised her eyebrows and took a sip of her drink.
“So, I´m back. Did I anything miss already?”, Hugh asked as he sat down again and took a kumeza of his beer.
“The Lady is gonna get drunk.”, Mike alisema kidding her a little.
“I´m not.”, she fought back.
“Yes, seemed like a missed something.”, Hugh joked and tried to ease the atmosphere a bit.
He noticed that Lisa had a really nerved mood. “She doesn´t like him, but why? Maybe I should try to get her out of here.”, Hugh thought kwa himself.
While Hugh was trying to find a way to get Lisa out of here and away from Mike the phone rang. “Oh, this is mine.”, Mike alisema and went out with his cell.
“Wow, what a luck!”, Hugh thought and saw that Lisa was just ordering a new one.
“Ok, think we´ve got enough. Let´s go to bed.”, he alisema and put a 50 dollar note on the counter. He smiled at Lisa and gave her a deep look. “Don´t wewe think?”
“Ahm…what?”
“Trust me. Come on, let´s go.”, Hugh said.
She smirked a little and both went out into the lobby. “Stairs au elevator?”, he asked. “Elevator.”, she answered.
She was really a little bit tipsy. Hugh brought her into her room. She laid down on the kitanda as did he. “You´re ok?”, he asked carefully.
She smiled and took a deep breathe. “Yes, thanks.”
“You´re welcome.”
A few dakika they laid there together in silence. “What the hell I´m just doing here? I should have been gone already. She´s fine.”, he thought.
“God, I just feel like i´m an teenager…don´t know what to do au say. Should I say anything? Why is he still here?”, she thought kwa herself at the same time.
Suddenly he broke the silence. “You didn´t like him,or?”
“Who?”
“Mike, remember…our Photographer.”
She turned around on her right side and looked at Hugh who was still laying on his back.
“He´s a jerk.”
Hugh smiled. “What happened?”
“He tried to flirt with me.”
“Oh, yes. And he wasn´t really charming?”
She rolled her eyes. “Just what I said…he´s a jerk.”
“Lisa, sorry but I´m your friend remember? wewe told me about Giamaro. We talked about other men. I know you. And sometimes it feels like I´m……”, he stopped, not sure about where these conversation should be going.
“What are wewe driving at?”
He turned his head and gave her a serious look. “Oh shit! This isn´t a good sign.”, she thought. “Nothing.”, he alisema and got off of the bed. “It´s late. I have to go. See wewe tomorrow. Good night.”, he alisema quickly before leaving.
