Sitting in a big white room alone
Tilt my head back, feel the tears fall down
Close my eyes to see in the dark
I feel young, broken, so so scared (mmmmmm)
I don't wanna be here anymore
I wanna be somewhere else
Normal and free, like I used to be (oh)
But I have to stay in this big white room
With little old me

I'm going crazy
I'm losing my mind
I'm going crazy
In this big white room of mine
I'm going crazy
I'm losing my mind
I'm going crazy
In this big white room of mine

Sitting in a big white room alone
Close the door
Don't want the pain to come in (no no no no no no)
I clench my fist
And try to stay strong
I cry, feel sick
My moyo is beating, b-b-beating, beating out of control
Can I run, run faster than you
I wanna feel my body again
Feel the wind in my hair, yeah

But I have to stay in this big white room

I don't wanna be the reason,
We don't get down.
So Ima let wewe do the leading,
And follow wewe now

See I just don't usually do this,
But you're bringing me out.
All the doubts I had have gone away
When you're touching me I'm not afraid,

Knowing the same, going away, here to stay,
I just wanna be your girl

I can be all wewe want,
What do wewe say,
I just wanna be your girl, yeah.

Coz wewe got my moyo unlocked,
It's so unreal wewe know,
Don't want this to stop,
Your so damn keepable
Feel your magic touch
It's unbelievable
I gotta have you, like abracadabra

'Cause wewe got my moyo unlocked,
It's so unreal wewe know,
Don't want this to stop,
Your so damn keepable
Feel your magic touch

I gotta have you, like abracadabra

It was such a surprise,

When I'm nervous I have this thing, yeah, I talk too much
Sometimes I just can't shut the hell up
It's like I need to tell someone, anyone who'll listen
And that's where I seem to fuck up

Yeah, I forget about the consequences
For a dakika there I lose my senses
And in the heat of the moment my mouth starts going
The words start flowing, oh

But I never meant to hurt you
I know it's time that I learned to
Treat the people I upendo like I wanna be loved
This is a lesson learned

I hate that I let wewe down
And I feel so bad about it
I guess karma comes back around
'Cause now I'm the one that's hurting, yeah

And I hate that I made wewe think
That the trust we had is broken
Don't tell me wewe can't forgive me
'Cause nobody's perfect
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, nobody's perfect, no

If I could turn back the hands of time
I swear I never would've crossed that line

Okay, Coconut man, Moon Heads and pea
wewe ready

Seems like everybody's got a price,
I wonder how they sleep at night.
When the sale comes first,
And the truth comes second,
Just stop for a dakika and
Smile

Why is everybody so serious?
uigizaji so damn mysterious?
Got your shades on your eyes
And your heels so high
That wewe can't even have a good time

[Pre-chorus:]
Everybody look to their left (yeah)
Everybody look to their right (uh)
Can wewe feel that (yeah)
We're paying with upendo tonight

[Chorus:]
It's not about the money, money, money
We don't need your money, money, money
We just wanna make the world dance,
Forget about the price tag
Ain't about the (uh) Cha-Ching Cha-Ching
Ain't about the (yeah) Ba-Bling Ba-Bling
Wanna make the world dance,
Forget about the price tag.

"RECOGNISE caught up with Jessie J to talk about the rumours surrounding her sexuality, her dreams of a Tinie Tempah collaboration and making lasagne for our cover stars McFly…
She’s the fierce new face of British pop muziki and she’s here to make a statement. Jessica Cornish, au Jessie J as she’s better known, follows in a long line of successful and empowering female muziki artists. As a graduate of the prestigious Brit School, Jessie recently picked up the Critic’s Choice at this year’s Brit Awards, emulating fellow alumni Ellie Goulding and Adele.

At just 22 years old she’s already written songs for the cream of the crop in the muziki world, including Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys, Miley Cyrus, Christina Aguilera and Chris Brown. Jessie’s debut single ‘Do It Like A Dude’ blasted her onto the UK muziki scene as a nyota in her own right, with the record charting at number two. There was only one way to better that and her sekunde single ‘Price Tag’, stormed straight to the juu of charts.

I’d rather be self-made than reality-show manufactured. Though some of the reality shows are great opportunities, for the artist I have become and the artist I want to become, I have to go through that struggle and rejection even if it takes another seven years.

I’d rather buy my own underwear than have someone else buy it for me. Now that I’m in the public eye, I don’t think I should change. I hate buying underwear because I hardly have any boobs. But I think that kind of thing is very personal.

I’d rather play children’s games than drinking games at a party. Pass the Parcel, any day. My Marafiki would actually be able to answer that for me. I’m a big kid. Drinking doesn’t interest me one little bit.

I’d rather be in a Broadway musical than a Hollywood blockbuster. That’s tough, but I’ll take Broadway musical because that’s where I come from. That’s how I started. I really want to go back to it one day, but I’d still upendo to do both. I’m currently uandishi a musical, actually.

"I've always been that girl who people are a little bit scared of."

Jessie J’s former manager is reportedly trying to make the nyota pay him a fifth of her earnings for the rest of her life. Jessie J has admitted she struggled for years before hitting the big time. The British singer alisema she suffered several heartbreaking setbacks when she first started out, and even lived out of her car so she would be free to go and work wherever she was needed. Talking to website That zabibu Juice, she explained: "I think back to the early days. Days of wanting to be signed, then getting signed with a girl band, uandishi 150 songs in two years only for the label to go bankrupt. It hasn't been easy. I got signed to Sony as a songwriter doing support stuff in any place I could around the world for free. All the while, I was just living in a car. Doing all of that stuff that felt so crazy at the time. Yet, these are the things wewe have to go through to be the kind of artist wewe want to be. The type of artist who survives in this industry.

Stop, where am I?
Shock, I can't cry
Pop, I need some space

No, this isn't me
Go, please let me breathe
I'll be back sooner than wewe know

I need this space
Just like wewe need it
I need this time
Time to clear up my mind

Wait, did wewe hear that?
Hear my moyo beat
I need this feeling
Whoa yeah, I really need this

Well, I've been blind
I hope I'll be fine
Don't call me back, no

Yes, I see light
Now, it's so bright
Call my name, I'll be there soon

If wewe surround yourself with negative people
You'll never feel settled in au become equal - no.
They'll suppress wewe of your spirit and rinse wewe dry of smiles.
So reach deep and release your inner child. Yeah Yeah!

So Stand Up! For the Love, Love, Love
So Stand Up! For the Love, Love, Love
So Stand Up! For the Love, Love, Love
So Stand Up! For the Love, Love

Cuz' you're as old as wewe feel wewe are
And if wewe don't reach for the moon wewe can't fall on the stars
So I live my life like every siku is the last, last, last
Stand up
(Repeat)

If wewe let a frown become your normality
wewe don't set an example for the youth of our humanity
If wewe spend everyday wishing for the inayofuata to come
Aged and lifeless is what (Yes!) you'll become. Yeah Yeah!

Okay, maybe this is the siku that I have to write a song about love
It's about time

L.O. L.O. L.O.V.E. Love

I alisema I'd never write a song about love
But when it feels this good a song fits like a glove
When wewe hold me and wewe tell me
That wewe missed me and call me milky
Fuck it I'mma write a song about love

You're my key - wewe unlock me
Keep me close, keep me safe, keep me happy
So sweet - oh love
It's destiny - so nothing stops me
I'll tell the world that you're mine and wewe got me
So sweet - oh love
I'm in upendo (x3)
L.O.V.E - love

See upendo doesn't choose a boy au a girl, nope
When I met you, wewe hugged my moyo and filled my world
So wewe can stare - I don't care
You're the one ain't going nowhere
So fuck it I'mma be honest with you

You're my key - wewe unlock me
Keep me close, keep me safe, keep me happy

So sweet - oh love

Mummy they call me names
They wouldn't let me play
I'd run home, sit and cry almost everyday
'Hey Jessica, wewe look like an alien
With green skin wewe don't fit in this playpen'
Well they pull my hair
They took away my chair
I keep it in and pretend that I didn't care
'Hey Jessica, you're so funny
You've got teeth just like Bugs bunny'

Oh, so wewe think wewe know me now
Have wewe forgotten how
wewe would make me feel
When wewe drag my spirit down
But thank wewe for the pain
It made me raise my game
And I'm still rising, I'm still rising
Yeah

So make your jokes
Go for broke
Blow your smoke
You're not alone
But who's laughing now
But who's laughing now

Hit me hard
Play your cards
Be a star

But who's laughing now
