Singer-turned-actress UEE might be ready to return with a new drama!

According to one drama rep on September 12, UEE will be the female lead in new

MBC Monday-Tuesday drama, \'Illumination,\' but her agency stated in response, "It is a production we are reviewing, but she isn\'t yet confirmed for appearance."

The drama centers the cutthroat competition to become the owner of the greedy lights that never sleep.  Looks like the theme will be heavy ambition!  It will begin airing in November.

if she takes the role, I would watch it, I like her acting =)

I\'ve only ever seen Uee in Marriage Contract.  However, I really like her.  There\'s just something about her that is quietly captivating.  I don\'t know what she is like in other roles, but in MC, although she was reserved and non-showy, your eyes can\'t help but focus on her whenever she\'s on screen.  I will look forward to seeing her in whatever project she tackles next.

I agree. She was great in MC. I hoped for a story book ending because I was so attached to her character but begrudgingly the ending ended as it should.

Save me the realism. Give me the magic! That\'s what we watch K-dramas for isn\'t it? :)
