Reason I chose it: The movie is basically about this girl who goes through depression and starts messing things up in her life. You see her struggling to get back to her old self and find happiness. She eventually finds this therapist that changes her life. I think you would enjoy it because it deals with mental health, cute friendships, and you see the main character make a lot of realistic mistakes and then eventually get her shit together.

Highway
IMDB Description: Right before her wedding, a young woman finds herself abducted and held for ransom. As the initial days pass, she begins to develop a strange bond with her kidnapper.
Reason I chose it: Even though it sounds like a stockholm syndrome movie which it lowkey is but it's also all about a girl's journey to find freedom while being abducted and becoming her own person. Highway talks about child molestation, abuse and suppresion. I feel like Kir would vibe with this movie a lot.

This kind of gave me Effy vibes?? (don't look at me, never watched Skins but for some reason lmao) So yes <3
