News about Lie to Me season 4 

You're right it's not looking too good. But we've got a shot here. Still a shot. I'm assuming that means Fringe is a keeper and they are gonna choose between Lie To Me and Human Target. But seriously...if LTM gets cancelled im going to cry and cry about it. And then when I'm done cry some more. If we don't get Callian....*shakes head in despair*

Yes, moreover, we are so close to actually GETTING Callian it would really suck! So, for everyone who likes more Lie to Me than Human Target: ONLY watch Lie to Me! lol

What really bothers me is since I live in Canada, the fact that me or my friends watch the TV show or not doesn't change anything about the ratings...

^^^I know right?! There are sooooo many fans around the world that watch it and they dont get counted. LTM has a really really big following. Does Human Target get the viewers LTM does worldwide? No. I didnt think so. LTM is boss.

Totally! My friend went to Japan a couple of months ago and she told me she had seen some LTM posters in the subway stations... in Japan!!!!!

I know that a bunch of international fans have created videos for the save LTM project and sent it into Fox, letting them know how much they love the show and how important it is to them. And Japan too? Wow. I really hope that Fox really considers these videos and international fans! LTM is seriously one of the best shows on right now.

I knoooooooow!!! I think Fox doesn't like it much because it's not some commercial show (like Glee for example) although it is a very smart and interesting show I guess Fox wants something more commercial...

Well Fox also hasn't done a very good job selling the show either. they kept changing the nights and time and not showing commercials for it except during house so people didnt know when it was on, when it had break, when it came back...it was a confusing mess. thats not the viewers fault! it would explain the dip in ratings and then the huge increase once people realized when it was back on!

i think it has the potential to become commercial...its just as good as house (pssh. its WAY better than glee)! people just dont know enough about it.

You're totally right! At some point, I did not even know when it aired and I missed 2 episodes because of that... :! And yes, although I love Glee, LTM is waaaaay better! (actually I even like more LTM than House.... ok! ok! don't kill me yet! please?)

^^^Lemme guess? "Funhouse" and "Rebound?" The two that randomly aired in January with no promotion and therefore had the lowest ratings of the season? I'm gonna guess yes. And that was Fox's own damn fault.

Don't feel bad...I've actually been more obsessed with LTM lately too lol. So i won't kill you! ;) Now that Huddy is together my shipping brain has moved onto Callian i think haha

lol you did guess right! I missed the two hour special and you can see it on the wall of this spot (or was it the Callian spot?)... Anyway, yes I am a bit pissed about that lack of promo! And after that, Fox goes ''well, we're not sure if we'll keep airing LTM yet and blah blah blah'' but who's fault is it?!?!?! tsk! lol anyway I'm glad you didn't kill me for liking more LTM than House xD

Block out all the negative! We gotta keep the faith and stay positive unless they offically say it's over!
BUT I'M NOT SAYING IT WILL! God sake, I'm crossing all fingers and toes and praying and praying for the love of god that LTM gets renewed!!!!!

I live in Australia and LTM has quite a following over here too, so it would be devastating for many people around the world if LTM was gone :(

@KrissyB im with you girl! you should join the Save LTM spot on facebook and write a letter or send a video to Fox. i think my family and i are going to write letters. i might write save ltm on my hands and then send a photo as well. i too have fallen in love with it and dont know what i would do without it. we NEED a season 4!

Guys! Everyone could write like 100 letters with different identities!!! xD One from me, one from my mom, one from my dad, one from my sister, one from my imaginary brother, one from my neighbor, one from the bus driver, etc... xD

LOL @Mrs-X i imagine they are probably getting hundreds of letters a week. LTM is a lot more popular than i originally thought and i think then they thought. we can only hope they are helping!

hmm.. i cant read the link but from what i see. i think that lie to me considering that killer app as the finale is disappointing. i do know that most people when they see fox, they automatically think that they only promote glee and american idol and yeah they sorta do but shows like BONES and HOUSE M.D dont get as much attention and are able to draw in at least 9 million views a night. i siding with LTM or FOX, i'm just saying. so far i have been disappointed with lie to me. i love the concept of the show but it just been disappointing.

Btw, to sum up the link, it says Fox will wait and see the premiere of LTM and Human Target and choose between these 2 shows...

Weren't you supposed to be one of the positive people? ^^ Let the pessimism to me xD Anyway, Fringe gave them very satisfying numbers so it deserves to be renewed (I guess since I've never watched the show) so we kind of saw the situation coming...

Yes but LTM gave good numbers too except for those couple episodes they broadcasted without telling everyone when they were gonna air! "Gone" and "Killer App" gave some of the best ratings!

I'm trying to stay really positive but ive still got my panties in a knot over the renewal, like im really worried about it. we've got a good chance! i wish it was up to us :p

Why does it have to be Lie To Me or Human Target? I only watch 5 shows on Fox at this point, Bones, Fringe, & Glee plus those two, so they represent 40% of the shows I watch. Why can't they cancel one of their many mindless scripted shows or even better one of their mindless reality shows (sorry, mindless reality show is redundant!)? LTM is well written & well acted. Perhaps that's why it's on the chopping block??? How exactly do they determine ratings anyway? They monitor a small % of the US and extrapolate from there. Plus in this age of DVR's someone can record a bunch of shows & watch them at another time or they can have the TV on & no one is watching it. How accurate are those ratings, really?

You're right they're not accurate at all... I and a lot of my friends watch lie to me but here we're in Canada so it doesnt count in the ratings and I know many other countries that count many fans of the show but it doesnt count either and THAT sucks!

Yeah i know a ton of people that watch the show in other countries; i would even wager that the majority of the LTM fans are NOT from the U.S. which is part of the reason why the show is so popular but FOX doesn't think so.

And whether they choose your household for ratings is pre-determined. its randomized and it can still detect what stuff you tivo so it should be picking up when people tivo it instead of just watching it live.

That was actually posted in Feb. I'm not worried :). In Feb., they didn't know that Chicago Code would tank. The ratings are not looking good for that one. Human Target isn't pulling the numbers either ... and if they are putting up re-runs of Lie to Me, that's a good sign. I'm feeling optimistic!

One repeat. That's all FOX gave us. A repeat of the Season 3 opener then...nothing. I'm soooo p'd! It's not that I dislike Bones or House - I enjoy those shows, too - but c'mon! One repeat is all there's going to be of LTM?
