SOS I need HELP >.<

So there's this guy I've known practically my whole life (Jamie)and just recently I've started to develop feelings for him. From the way that he acts when I'm around other guys and when we're alone, my intuition tells me that he fancy's me as well. My Problem: He has a girlfriend. Not just any girlfriend. A SHE BEAST. She lies, cheats on him, manipulates others, and she always talks Jamie down and tries to change who he is and how he acts all the time. I always ask him why would he want to be with someone who treats him so wrong and always makes him feel bad about himself. His response? "Yeah she does do things that I don't really like...but I'm in upendo with her...She's y other half." <--HOW CAN I CONVINCE THIS BOY HE DESERVES SO MUCH BETTER!?
