Winter Soldier reported to be the 'central character' for 'Captain America 3' 

AMC Movie Talk reports on the \'Captain America: Civil War\' comic book movie

Comic Book Movie on Sunday, reports indicated that in "Captain America: Civil War" the Winter Soldier character, who was played by Sebastian Stan in "Captain America: The Winter Solider", is not only involved with the event as influenced by the Marvel Civil War storyline in the comic books, but the part has touted him to be the central character of the event.

Daniel Brühl of Quentin Tarantino\'s "Inglourious Basterds" was recently announced as Marvel\'s next villain in the third "Captain America" installment. Bruhl was also speculated to be tied into the Winter Soldier\'s/Bucky Barnes\' origin story.

Directors Anthony and Joe Russo also made an inference that the Winter Soldier would be playing a key role in the third sequel and viewed part two and three as a two-part story. Earlier this year, they both stated that "Captain America 3" will be a continuation of sorts for Bucky Barnes, but considering a good amount of time has passed, they may be up to question as they were still in the early phases of the project. This was even prior the "Civil War" subtitle reveal during Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige\'s presentation at the El Capitan Theater.

Considering with recent cast member additions to the sequel such as Robert Downey, Jr. as Iron Man and Chadwick Boseman as the Black Panther, this may stand to reason plans could have changed. This all being said, this could mean a major involvement of the Winter Soldier origin story being the clear focus.

"Captain America: Civil War" is scheduled for release come May 6, 2016.
