I agree with you. Peyton does need Lucas more than he needs here and she always does need someone in her life when things go bad and that is not a knock on her.

this was actually a hard one for me, because i think that luke needs Peyton just as much as peyton needs luke. Peyton is just more open about it, i think. they are both a mess without eachother, and just end up hurting others while they are apart trying to move on.. but Peyton is more emotional and fragile, and like 1treehillfan said, she risked everything to be with him.

well when he saved her they wernt together - and when they did brake up series 5 i think its clear it only made her worse not better! she can take care of herself, she beat up pderek,she told victoria off to support brooke, i think she is independant because she does a lot of things for herself and by herself- i think she is really strong!!

Apparently, Peyton turns all sad without Lucas, and we all know Lucas turns into a complete idiot without Peyton, however they're not quite as dependant as you guys are making out. Season 3 was my favourite season for Peyton. I think people get it mixed up that Peyton is always depressed when Lucas isn' there, actually it's when NO ONE is there. That's why she was all upset at the end of season 5 (Lucas and Brooke were playing house together with Angie, Mia was gone, Haley had Nathan etc) and season 2 (untill Jake came back). Season 3 she had Ellie, so she was fine!

I didn't have sure about the answer. But well.. Peyton is always needing help, and Lucas is always there. So, i think Peyton.

thought peyton gets a lot from luke rescuing her all the time, Luke does need peyton when it comes to confiding. Peyton's a great listener and has great advice.

I agree with 1treehillfan and tvfan5. Sometimes the fact that she is so attached to Lucas upsets me. Peyton is so vulnerable when it comes to Lucas and that`s why she suffers if she`s not with him. I love Leyton but I still hate the fact that she took him back in the blink of an eye. He put her through hell and they haven`t even talked about it. I do think Lucas needs Peyton a lot but doesn`t know how to show it which is a male characteristic IMO.

i agree with tvfan5 and kathiria82. luke doesn't show it, while peyton is open about it, and admits her true feelings and vulnerabilities. But i do think they both need eachother equally..luke just needs to show it straight to peyton..the books were great, but i think he needs to let her know, and reassure peyton and ALL OF US!!
