Alright! So Tamaki is stressing out that his feelings for Haruhi aren't really Father Daughter type feelings, (DUH!). It makes him really melancholy and the Host's don't know what to do to cheer him up.
Well, during one Host event, where they're horse back riding, one of the farasi gets scared and starts freaking out. It rears up and Tamaki jumps in the way of it landing on one of the guests. He gets kicked really bad and they take him to the hospital. Nothing too serious, just a bad bruise and strict rules to not use his arm for a week au so. Well the guest that he saved, Megumi Kanoya, is a new student. She vows to help Tamaki until his arm gets better. (Haruhi is thrilled that Tamaki is alright and, as dumb as she can get, not at all threatened kwa this other girl being all over Tamaki.)
All the Hosts start to notice that Megumi is Tamaki's inner mind theatre Haruhi. She's perfect! She thinks moyo shaped, nyumbani made, box lunches are cute. She thinks that holding hands, singing, and dancing together when you're in upendo is acceptable, etc.
Haruhi and Tamaki don't see it of course (Thank goodness the King can be so dense! lol) But the Twins see it and start freaking out. Because although Hikaru loves Haruhi he wants her to be happy, which means her getting Tamaki.
Haruhi does start to get a little jealous but she doesn't understand her own feelings. And the zaidi Megumi and Tamaki are around each other the zaidi they realize they have in common. In fact they're almost exactly alike! (She's even separated from her Father because of a divorce and is never aloud to see him again. Tamaki, of course, can sympathize with that.)
Tamaki notes that he and Haruhi are very different, thus upsetting her. She runs off, embarrassed and hurt, and Tamaki starts to go after her. Megumi begs him not to go, declaring her love. She asks him to be her boyfriend. Tamaki, doesn't quite know what to say. . .
