Hi, everyone! Antonia here, and I promised that I would do an makala like this. I know that several of wewe have done this for your pets, past and present. This time, I'm doing one of my three dogs. Here it goes.

1. What are your pets' names? Their names are Roxy, River, and Roscoe.

2. What kind of pets are they and what breeds? Roxy is a Staffordshire ng'ombe terrier (a Pit ng'ombe breed). River is a Siberian Husky. Roscoe is a Gerberian Shepsky (German Shepherd/Siberian Husky mix).

3. How long have wewe had your pets? I've had Roxy since February 2009, so I've had her for ten whole years. I've had River since late May 2017, so it will be two years in May. I've had Roscoe since October, I think, so it's been four months.

4. How did wewe get your pets? Roxy had to go to a new home, because her owner was moving to a place that didn't allow dogs, so I adopted her. River was rescued from an abusive owner as a puppy. Roscoe's story is similar to Roxy's. The only difference is Roscoe's owner's apartment allowed dogs, but his owner didn't have time for him anymore.

5. How old are your pets? Roxy is ten and a half. She'll be eleven on August 7. River is one and ten months. She'll be two on April 6. Roscoe is almost ten months old. He'll be one on April 28.

6. What are some quirky things about your pets' personalities? Roxy likes lettuce. Most mbwa won't even touch it. River is a relatively quiet dog, even though Siberian Huskies are known for being vocal. She only howls when excited, and she'll occasionally "talk" to me. She never ever barks. Of course, Huskies aren't typically barkers. Roscoe plays dead to get out of doing things he'd rather not do, like going to the vet, but he cannot do it convincingly, because he never stays still. He also has a habit of opening one eye to see if anyone is buying it. Another quirk of Roscoe's is he loves to get in the bathtub au the shower. If you're taking a kuoga au a bath, wewe better keep the bathroom door closed, au Roscoe's coming in.

7. What does your relationship with your pets mean to you? Everything, enough said.

8. What are some of your inayopendelewa past times with your pets? I upendo walking and hiking with my dogs. I also enjoy chilling in the backyard with them.

9. What nicknames do wewe call your pets? I tend to call Roxy "Roxy Loxy". I can't help it. I sometimes call her "Miss Alpha", because she's the alpha of the dogs. I often call River "Little Girl", even though she's not so little anymore. She's actually big in comparison to Roxy, but I've had that nickname for River since she was a puppy. I also call her "Little Sweetheart" and "Rivs". I sometimes tend to call Roscoe "Roscoe Bosco". Most of the time, I call him "Big Goof".

There wewe have it. I hope wewe can take pleasure in learning about my dogs. If wewe didn't enjoy it, please be respectful. If wewe can't do that, then, as my dear friend Paul would say, piss off!

Peace and love,
-Antonia

When Grace came to, she looked at her surroundings. She was lying on a couch, and she saw her knight in shining armor, John. He said, "It's good that you're awake, Grace. Are wewe okay?" She said, "I think so." He asked, "What are wewe doing in Portland? Why aren't wewe in Salem?" She said, "I went for a bike ride to clear my head, and I was so Lost in thought, and I didn't realize where I was going until I saw a sign that indicated I was in Portland. It was so dark, and I got scared kwa a shadowy figure. I peddled as fast as I could, and I made it here. I'm glad to know I found you." John said,...

After finishing her homework late in the afternoon that Friday, Grace decided to go for a bike ride. Her aunt asked, "Where are wewe going, dear?" Grace said, "I'm just going for a bike ride to clear my head. That's all." Her aunt said, "All right. Be back in time for dinner, okay?" Grace said, "Okay." She went on, thinking about the day's event. It had been quite a rough siku for poor Grace. She and her friend, Sabrina, talked about doubling up. Grace remembered what Sabrina had alisema to her. "If wewe don't double up with me, I won't be your friend anymore." This hurt Grace deeply. Why is that...

When Grace went into her house, her aunt and uncle were waiting on her. Her aunt asked, "Did wewe have a good day, dear?" Grace said, "Yes. I just found out that for the coming school year, I could double up and graduate early." Her uncle said, "Really?" She said, "Yes, and I'm considering it." Her aunt asked, "Grace, are wewe sure wewe want to do this?" Grace said, "Yeah." Her uncle said, "Eleventh grade is going to be your hardest mwaka academically. If wewe combine wewe twelfth grade mwaka along with it, that might make it even harder." She said, "I'm willing to face the challenge." Her aunt said,...

Grace was just finishing her sekunde mwaka of high school. She enjoyed the experience for the most part. Although some of her Marafiki had moved away within the last year, she still had a few good Marafiki left. Later, she learned that for her third mwaka of high school, she could double up and graduate early. She alisema to herself, "It might not be such a bad idea." Later, she talked with her friend, Michael. She said, "I'm thinking about doubling up for the coming school year." He asked, "Why would wewe want to do that?" I said, "Well, I get to graduate early if I do." He said, "The eleventh grade...

It was time to start school once again. I would be starting the seventh grade. After school, I immediately went jogging with my puppy, Redford and my friend, Brian. Unfortunately, Brian scared me at one point. He alisema to me, "Aubrey, we need to stop." I asked, "Why? What's wrong?" He said, "I feel light-headed." He then collapsed at my feet in a dead faint. Redford and I stayed close to Brian. I was prepared to let Redford off the lead to find help. Fortunately, after about thirty seconds, Brian came to. He asked, "What just happened?" I said, "You fainted. Are wewe okay?" He said, "I don't...

One day, I went jogging with my dog, Redford. As we were jogging, I tripped and fell. As I fell, my ankle made a horrible cracking sound. It sound like the snapping of a mti branch breaking. I didn't try to get up at first. As I was lying there, Redford licked my face. I was still holding the lead, and he didn't offer to slip out of his collar, alama and run off. I only had Redford for a few weeks, and he was already strongly bonded to me. I tried to get up, but my ankle was really hurting. Reluctantly, I let Redford off of the lead and said, "Go get help!" He took off. I sat there and held my throbbing...

I went on the Internet and found a dog breed selector. It had a series of maswali regarding what I was looking for in a dog. The final results led me to a breed. It was the Siberian Husky, simply called Siberian au Husky. I read about it, and I really liked the description. I talked with my parents about it. One day, I heard my parents talking. My father said, "Aubrey has been wishing she had a jogging companion." My mother said, "Yes, and the Siberian Husky is good for that." One morning, my parents woke me up. They said, "Come on. We're going on a trip." I asked, "Where are we going?" My...

One day, I almost picked up a pair of scissors to cut myself with. My father hid the pocket kisu from me. I then saw my guitar. As I was strumming, a few words began to pop into my head. I got a notebook I wasn't using otherwise and a pen, and I wrote some words down. They were very sad, but they seemed to give me some comfort. Just then, my mother came into my bedroom and said, "Aubrey, your Marafiki are here." I came downstairs, and my Marafiki Chelsea, Sam, and Brian were standing at the door. I said, "Hi, guys. What brings your here?" Chelsea said, "We're going to the mall. My mother is...

In the months after Jim's untimely death, I remained very sad. Jim and I used to enjoy jogging together. I still enjoyed jogging, but it got lonely doing it alone. None of my other Marafiki were interested in that. The bullying really picked up. My remaining Marafiki would stand up for me, but that didn't stop the bullies from bullying me. Sometimes they would beat me. Many times, I would pretend I needed to use the restroom so that I could be alone to cry. One day, when I was sitting at home, I saw a pocket knife. I honestly don't know what I was thinking, if I was thinking at all, but I began...

Jim and I were two kids growing up in the foothills of North Carolina. We were the best of friends. We did everything together. We even had numerous inside jokes. We very seldom disagreed. When we did, it was always over something stupid. In the end, we would always make up and laugh about how ridiculous we were. Jim and I loved each other in a way that only best Marafiki could. We even had the same birthday. We never thought that we would ever separate, but one day, we did. One day, when we were only twelve, we were riding the bus to go home. Suddenly, the bus slipped on a patch of ice. The...

The members of New Religion went out of town to spend some time with their families. On the last siku of doing so, they spent some time at a shopping mall. Suddenly, gunshots were heard, and everyone was scattered about. The members of New Religion and their families suddenly got separated in the chaos. Erin and her brother, Daniel, managed to find an emergency exit. Paul managed to find a storage room to hide in. Carl and his family soon found a way out. Lola's family managed to escape, but Lola got shot. She proceeded to lie on the floor, pretending to be dead. The pain was intense, but she...

The members of New Religion went to the recording studio to record a humorous song that Erin had written. Lola said, "I admire that wewe were able to keep your humor, despite being injured." Erin said, "Sometimes bad things happen, and there's nothing wewe can do about it." Paul said, "That's true. I feel silly for suggesting we leave Miami." Carl said, "Don't feel silly, Paul. Oak Ridge is safer in terms of crime. Besides, no place is one hundred percent safe." Erin said, "Carl's right. Living in fear of bad things happening is the worst way to live. The members of New Religion went to the airport to fly to Oak Ridge. The mbwa had to ride in crates in a different compartment. The flight went smoothly. The only problem was that one of Paul's mbwa howled the entire time. If anyone asked, he denied ownership. Everyone made it to Oak Ridge all right. Once they arrived at their new home, Erin, Paul, Carl, and Lola unpacked their things and settled in. That night, they instantly went to bed. They were exhausted from their trip. The inayofuata morning, Paul was the first one up. He decided to fix breakfast for everyone. While he was making breakfast,...

Things were going really well. Suddenly, a former employee came busting through the door. He was not happy about the fact he had been fired, and he held the building at gunpoint. "What do we do now?" Erin whispered. Lola whispered back, "I don't know." Paul whispered, "I have an idea. We'll leave our tips and sneak out the back." While the former employee was confronting the manager, Erin, Lola, and Paul left...

It was the summer of 2017. This summer was a little sad, but it also had happy points. Early in the summer, I was sitting in my bedroom. I heard the doorbell ring, and I heard my uncle say "I'll get it." I then heard an unfamiliar voice say "Would wewe be willing to take this puppy? My son doesn't want her. I intended for her to be a gift for his tenth birthday, but he threw her against the wall. He probably broke her leg." My uncle said, "And wewe didn't take her to the vet?!" The unfamiliar voice said, "No." My uncle said, "You know what, I'll gladly take this puppy from you! Now, get off of...

When I started the eleventh grade in August 2016, I was still grieving over Millie. One day, I had a talk with the guidance counselor at my school. I told her, "If I had known Millie was going to die, I would have been zaidi patient with her. There were times I Lost my temper with her and just lashed out at her." The guidance counselor put her hand on my shoulder. She said, "Autumn, that's not what Millie remembers. In fact, she told me about all the times wewe and Glenn stood up to bullies for her." I felt better after that talk. I later met Glenn in the hall, and we walked to the lunchroom...

The summer of 2016 started out rather badly. One day, my aunt and uncle and I visited with my paternal grandparents. As we were heading back home, we noticed these two idiots racing each other in their trucks. My uncle tried to avoid them, but there was nowhere he could go to avoid them. They hit the car and drove off without any regard for what they had done. We all got out to see the damage. My aunt said, "It looks pretty bad. I'm glad everyone's all right." She then noticed me staggering. She said, "Autumn, you're hurt." I was taken to the hospital, covered in blood. I had several cuts and...
