Hi, everyone! Antonia here, and I promised that I would do an makala like this. I know that several of wewe have done this for your pets, past and present. This time, I'm doing one of my three dogs. Here it goes.

1. What are your pets' names? Their names are Roxy, River, and Roscoe.

2. What kind of pets are they and what breeds? Roxy is a Staffordshire ng'ombe terrier (a Pit ng'ombe breed). River is a Siberian Husky. Roscoe is a Gerberian Shepsky (German Shepherd/Siberian Husky mix).

3. How long have wewe had your pets? I've had Roxy since February 2009, so I've had her for ten whole years. I've had River since late May 2017, so it will be two years in May. I've had Roscoe since October, I think, so it's been four months.

4. How did wewe get your pets? Roxy had to go to a new home, because her owner was moving to a place that didn't allow dogs, so I adopted her. River was rescued from an abusive owner as a puppy. Roscoe's story is similar to Roxy's. The only difference is Roscoe's owner's apartment allowed dogs, but his owner didn't have time for him anymore.

5. How old are your pets? Roxy is ten and a half. She'll be eleven on August 7. River is one and ten months. She'll be two on April 6. Roscoe is almost ten months old. He'll be one on April 28.

6. What are some quirky things about your pets' personalities? Roxy likes lettuce. Most mbwa won't even touch it. River is a relatively quiet dog, even though Siberian Huskies are known for being vocal. She only howls when excited, and she'll occasionally "talk" to me. She never ever barks. Of course, Huskies aren't typically barkers. Roscoe plays dead to get out of doing things he'd rather not do, like going to the vet, but he cannot do it convincingly, because he never stays still. He also has a habit of opening one eye to see if anyone is buying it. Another quirk of Roscoe's is he loves to get in the bathtub au the shower. If you're taking a kuoga au a bath, wewe better keep the bathroom door closed, au Roscoe's coming in.

7. What does your relationship with your pets mean to you? Everything, enough said.

8. What are some of your inayopendelewa past times with your pets? I upendo walking and hiking with my dogs. I also enjoy chilling in the backyard with them.

9. What nicknames do wewe call your pets? I tend to call Roxy "Roxy Loxy". I can't help it. I sometimes call her "Miss Alpha", because she's the alpha of the dogs. I often call River "Little Girl", even though she's not so little anymore. She's actually big in comparison to Roxy, but I've had that nickname for River since she was a puppy. I also call her "Little Sweetheart" and "Rivs". I sometimes tend to call Roscoe "Roscoe Bosco". Most of the time, I call him "Big Goof".

There wewe have it. I hope wewe can take pleasure in learning about my dogs. If wewe didn't enjoy it, please be respectful. If wewe can't do that, then, as my dear friend Paul would say, piss off!

Peace and love,
-Antonia

Lola and Her Mates
One day, I decided to invite the girls I helped with homework to a party. I also invited Erin, Paul, and Carl. They were always so nice to me, so I didn't see any reason not to invite them. As I was getting ready for the party, I heard the doorbell ring. I went to answer the door. Erin, Paul, and Carl were standing there. I said, "Hi. You're a little early, but come on in." We waited for my other guests to onyesha up, but they never did. I was very sad that they hurt me like that. I said, "I knew they only liked me because I help them with homework." Erin said, "People who truly...

Making New Friends
When I was in high school, I moved to Pine Grove. When I arrived, the maarufu girls eyed me like a pack of hungry Mbwa mwitu loups seeing a stray sheep. Amazingly enough, they had no intention to hurt me physically. They asked me to help them with their homework. Surprisingly, they actually did their part. I guess they were afraid I wouldn't help them if they didn't. One day, during my junior year, I saw a girl trip and fall in the hallway. I said, "I'm going to make sure she's okay." The ring leader of the maarufu girls said, "All right. Go make sure your fellow dork is okay. You're...

The Bullying
Even though I was the nurturer, not everyone liked me very much. I got bullied quite a bit. One day, some bullies aliiba my glasses and locked me in the janitor's closet. I have been terrified of the dark for a long time, especially since I can't see well without my glasses. Eventually, the janitor let me out, and I managed to get my glasses back. There was once when I saw a classmate fall. I asked, "Are wewe okay?" She said, "Get away from me, wewe dork!" I felt hurt. I said, "I'm sorry for caring." I confided in my grandmother during my saddest times. One day, I came to her covered...

Introduction
It was June 1, 2018, Lola's twenty-first birthday. Her Marafiki were celebrating with her. As they were enjoying some cake, John asked, "What was your life like before wewe met your band mates, Lola?" She said, "It was okay, I guess." Peter asked, "Was it as tragic as Paul's?" She said, "Not really. It had its good and bad points. Are wewe sure wewe want me to talk about it?" Allen said, "Yes." Erin said, "You haven't really told us much about your childhood." Lola was apprehensive. Paul said, "It's all right. wewe can tell us." Carl said, "That's right. We're your friends." Lola smiled...

It was summer. Jane and Paula were looking mbele to enjoying some time off from school. Neither one of them liked school much, mainly because of the bullying, but they did enjoy each other's company. Jane's Siberian Husky puppy, Shiloh, was growing up fast. Jane said, "Puppies grow up so fast." Paula said, "I know. When we first met, Shiloh was a tiny puppy." Jane said, "Yeah, and she's now getting close to the full size of a typical Siberian Husky." Jane and Paula reminisced about the months since they had met. They had grown very close. They made a pact that they would remain Marafiki for life, no matter what.

I am so excited! I have a new dog! His name is Roscoe. He is a Gerberian Shepsky. He is almost six months old, neutered, housebroken, and a very sweet boy. His birthday is April 28. There's no sense in changing his name, because he already knows his name. He gets along super well with Roxy and River.

I will explain why we got Roscoe. Earlier this week, Roxy got hurt. She has a bad habit of darting out the door when it's opened, especially if she sees a squirrel. We are trying to break her of that habit. Thankfully, she responds if we call her back. Anyway, Roxy tried to come back when my aunt...

One day, Jane and Paula went hiking after school. Jane brought her dog, Shiloh, along. At one point, Paula tripped and fell. As she went down, a horrible cracking sound was heard. Jane thought, Oh, no! That didn't sound good! She knelt down beside of her friend and asked, "Are wewe okay, Paula?" Paula said, "I think so." She tried to get up, but she was unable to. Jane said, "Let me help you." Jane helped Paula up. Paula was unable to walk. Jane said, "You're hurt." Paula said, "I think something happened to my ankle. I can't put pressure on it." Jane said, "You probably sprained it. I'll go...

One day, Jane and Paula once again proved how strong their friendship was. They took a trip to the Upper Peninsula in Michigan. They played in the lake together. At one point, Jane went too far. She didn't know how to swim. She cried out, "Help! I can't swim!" Paula said, "Hold on, Jane! I'm coming!" Paula wasn't the best swimmer in the world, but her determination to help her best friend was very strong. Jane went under. It was dark, and she was sure it was the end. Just then, she felt a hand grab her and pull her to the surface. After she coughed up some water, she looked to see who saved...

The big siku finally came. Jane and Paula were going to their first tamasha to see The Devil Wants Peace and New Religion. Letty and Hillel took them to a restaurant to eat before taking them for the concert. Jane asked, "Is it just me, au are the two bands also having chajio, chakula cha jioni here?" Paula said, "Wow! It is them!" Hillel said, "Go talk to them." Jane said, "I don't want to bother them. They're eating right now." Letty said, "I'm sure they won't mind. Anyone I've talked to has alisema that they never turn down their fans." Paula asked, "Are wewe sure?" Letty walked up to the two bands and said, "My...

Although Jane gained zaidi Marafiki over the months, she remained very close with Paula. One day, Jane and Paula proved that their friendship was meant to last forever. That day, the two of them got into an argument. It was terrible for both of them. Later that day, Jane saw Paula being bullied. The bullies were about to beat Paula. Jane forgot that she was arguing with Paula and slid in to take the beating for Paula. Paula cried out, "Jane! What are wewe doing?!" Jane said, "Get out of here! They'll get you, too!" Paula ran off and returned with two teachers. The two teachers pulled the bullies...

The inayofuata morning, Jane and Paula walked to school together. Paula asked, "What do wewe think of the band, The Devil Wants Peace?" Jane said, "I think they're amazing." Paula said, "I really like them, too. Did wewe know that they recently collaborated with a band called New Religion?" Jane said, "Yes, I knew that. New Religion is among my inayopendelewa bands." Paula said, "I'll let wewe in on a secret. I was named in honor of Paul." Jane said, "You were not!" Paula laughed and said, "You're right. I wasn't named for anyone in particular. My parents just found the name in a baby book." Jane said, "I...
