LENORE

Ah, broken is the golden bowl! the spirit flown forever!
Let the kengele toll ! a saintly soul floats on the Stygian river,
And, Guy de Vere, hast thou no tear ? Weep now au nevermore!
See! on yon drear and rigid jeneza, bier low lies thy love, Lenore !
Come ! let the burial rite be read- the funeral song be sung !
An anthem for the queenliest dead that ever died so young
A dirge for her the doubly dead in that she died so young.

"Wretches ! ye loved her for her wealth and hated her for her pride,
And when she fell in feeble health, ye blessed her- that she died!
How shall the ritual, then, be read ? The requiem how be sung
kwa you- kwa yours, the evil eye, kwa yours, the slanderous tongue
That did to death the innocence that died, and died so young ?"

Peccavimus, but rave not thus ! and let a Sabbath song
Go up to God so solemnly the dead may feel no wrong.
The sweet Lenore hath "gone before," with Hope, that flew beside,
Leaving thee wild for the dear child that should have been thy bride.
For her, the fair and debonair, that now so lowly lies,
The life upon her yellow hair but not within her eyes
The life still there, upon her hair- the death upon her eyes.

"Avaunt ! avaunt ! from fiends below, the indignant ghost is riven
From Hell unto a high estate far up within the Heaven
From grief and groan, to a golden throne, beside the King of Heaven!
Let no kengele toll, then, lest her soul, amid its hallowed mirth,
Should catch the note as it doth float up from the damned Earth !
And I! tonight my moyo is light ! No dirge will I upraise,
But waft the Angel on her flight with a Paean of old days !"

When the selfishness,
Has wewe in its grasp
And wewe cannot break free
Nor admit to it
You must stay silent

When wewe want someone
To be yours
Yet they are anothers
Does it make wewe selfish
To want the one they have?

When wewe want the one
Someone has
You are selfish
For that is theres
Not yours

Find your own
Although the one
You want
Makes wewe happy
When the rest cannot

The one wewe want
May do the same for others
Nevertheless, wewe want him
For yourself
However, it will not happen

You want the rest
To remain happy
Even when your heart
Cracks every time wewe see him
For he is with another
And she is expectant
Of your selfishness...

What do wewe see
when wewe look into my eyes?
Do wewe see the emptiness
or wewe see remorse?

Could wewe ever be able
to feel the depth i’ve been hiding
from you,
so wewe couldn’t laugh,
so wewe couldn’t laugh...

What do wewe do behind my backs,
out of my sight,
what do wewe hide,
are wewe a coward?

And i’m still here
but wewe don’t own me,
you can’t have me
the way wewe want,
you can’t,
just see it in my eyes.

I froze my heart,
so wewe can’t hurt
what is dead for a while,
but wewe don’t know that,
don’t you?

You think i’ll be so happy
seeing wewe again,
oh wewe think
you could make this right,
but your touch...

Across the spreading darkness cold,
the plains charred and black,
the sun will shine and the moon will glow...
Though I'm never coming back.

The air is thick, filled with beating wings;
the mountains loom and laugh.
The valley below no longer sings
of harvest's seasons past.

Echoing in the air are screams,
desperate and harrowing and raw.
And though it was I who caused all this,
I can only stand in awe.

Not once did I think that she would break,
that she could fall, that she could crack.
It's because of this war, it's because of us,
that I won't be coming back.

I kneel beside her body still,
I kiss her frozen cheek.
Her neck is bent and burnt with ropes,
the approaching dawn is bleak.

But the future yields for naught,
and the night goes on and on.
I stand, I turn, I walk away.
kwa morning, I will be gone.

That dastardly knight, clad in red
So many tears I shed
All he ever, drones about
Is how he ruined the lives of hundreds
This is horrible nonsense, I proclaimed
Would wewe like to suffer the same?, He snarled

The knight raised his blade
He cut right through me
Faster than the shake of an earthquake
Black stars filled the sky
Terrible screams echoed through the halls
She is dead, she is dead! They called

I have left this accursed world
To roam free
Where the sun is at its prime silhouette
I can finally see His hand touch mine
We are finally one
Heavens have saved me, but the ones that love
They have mourned
Through...

This is a little poem I wrote. I wrote it from my heart, mind, body, and soul. I hope wewe like it. maoni if wewe can. :)
__________________________________________________

I’m supposed to be happy.

I’m supposed to smile.

I’m supposed to laugh.

Yet, I can’t.

I can’t forget that he’s not here.

I can’t forget that he never was.

I can’t forget that he didn’t care.

wewe were supposed to be a father to me.

wewe were supposed to upendo me.

wewe were supposed to care.

Yet, wewe didn’t.

Forgive me if I don’t understand.

I thought father’s were supposed to upendo their little girls.

I thought they were supposed to be the dad that beat up their boyfriends.

I thought that I would have a father that loved me.

But, I don’t.

He doesn’t care.

He never will.

I’ve learned to forget him.

He’s no father to me.

He never was.

I’m happy now.

I can laugh and smile.

Even without you.

Dad.

There's a breathless hush in the Close to-night --
Ten to make and the match to win --
A bumping pitch and a blinding light,
An saa to play and the last man in.
And it's not for the sake of a ribboned coat,
au the selfish hope of a season's fame,
But his Captain's hand on his shoulder smote
"Play up! play up! and play the game!"

The sand of the desert is sodden red, --
Red with the wreck of a square that broke; --
The Gatling's jammed and the colonel dead,
And the regiment blind with dust and smoke.
The river of death has brimmed his banks,
And England's far, and Honour a name,
But the voice of schoolboy rallies the ranks,
"Play up! play up! and play the game!"

This is the word that mwaka kwa year
While in her place the School is set
Every one of her sons must hear,
And none that hears it dare forget.
This they all with a joyful mind
kubeba through life like a torch in flame,
And falling fling to the host behind --
"Play up! play up! and play the game!"

"Grains of sand slip through your hands..."
"Grains of sand slip through your hands..."
If someone told you...
Life's like a rollercoaster,
Don't waste the ride.
Live it up all the way,
because today's your last day
What would wewe do?

Would wewe cry a little, scream a little, think it's all pretend.
au go into silence until the very end...
Would wewe upendo the ones wewe hate the most au be the person wewe hide?
Would wewe pretend that you're ok but really scream inside?

Would wewe try and keep the sun from setting as your last siku ends?
Knowing you'll never see it rise...
Tomorrow I'll be somewhere else wewe say as wewe close your eyes.
"Test the sea rising at your feet, how far can wewe go..."
"Test the sea rising at your feet, how far can you go..."
"Let the rain falling on your face, run into your eyes. Can wewe see the upinde wa mvua now, through the stormy skies?"
"Let the rain falling on your face, run into your eyes. Can you see the rainbow now, through the stormy skies?"

When wewe stare into my eyes
What do wewe see?

I know I see a scared girl,
Who wants to break out of her shell
and onyesha the world who she really is.

She feels abandoned and alone
even with Marafiki and family around her.
She has been used and she was choking on the promise she would never fall again.

She's the girl people see
Laughing and smiling on the outside
is actually Crying and Hurting inside.

People misunderstands her,
They judge and tease but she puts up a shield.
She is sweet and sensitive but they don't care
They're cruel as the world we live in.

Do wewe see that in my eyes?
Do wewe see me?

It's amazing what wewe can hide
Just kwa putting on a smile.

Dig Deeper

Look deeper and wewe will see her soul,
Observing the outside without entering the door,
Was never enough for her moyo to enfold,
Look into her eyes and dig deeper, explore.
You were (for some time) satisfied with the curve of her waist,With the shape of her ass, the makeup on her face,
But if only wewe had tried, for once, to enter from a different side,
Perhaps her satisfaction in you, would have been in full body and mind.
Won't wewe try and find the key. wont wewe try?
Only she knows that the one who unlocks the door will find,
The curves of her nature, the shape of her desire, the makeup...

All My Fault

kwa Cody Herman

moto courses through my body

Rage I never knew existed

I stumble around dizzily

I know I shouldn't have insisted

We were laughing together

The siku started out great

We could have lasted forever

au maybe it was just fate

Deep inside my heart

I know that I was wrong

We shouldn't have part

Just when we got along

So where does the blame go?

Is it to me au to you?

How could I have stooped so low?

When was it I withdrew?

The blame is on me

The troubles are mine

To the air I plea

I knew it wasn't time

It could have worked out

We would have been fine

It would have been without

All because of the upendo line

No zaidi time to suck it up
No zaidi time to fight the luck
No zaidi time to say goodbye
Just get up and go
Let's try.....

Let's go right now!
No one can save us!
Let's go right now!
The world is ours,

Let's go right now!
Never be desolated
Let's go right now!
No time for being ungraded
Let's just go...right now.

I'm sorry Ma,
I knew wewe thought wewe raised me well
But living in your forlorn promises
Never really helped
Just go nyumbani to pa
And tell him I'm at taco Bell

Just being the sprout I am
Never worked out
I should stand tall
Right about now
But I should just go tough now

Let's go right now!
I can save us
Let's go right...
