'Reign' Season 3 Spoilers: Identity Of Greer's New Love Interest REVEALED

It\'s been revealed that Greer\'s new love interest in "Reign" Season 3 will be a new pirate at the French court. Is this Martin (Saamer Usmani), the new "

fearless and dangerous" pirate set to arrive next season?

Showrunner Laurie McCarthy describes Greer\'s new man as "adorable," "sexy" and "a bad boy." It was earlier reported that Martin is very good at getting women in bed and has a preference for Highborn ladies. He happens to be looking for a bride. Could wedding bells be ringing for Greer soon?

E! News reported that Greer would have a romance with a new English nobleman. If true, this means that she\'ll have two love interests in the new episodes. We must wait to find out for sure.

McCarthy revealed to Entertainment Weekly that Tom Everett Scott will portray William, "a really trusted advisor/counselor" for Queen Elizabeth. The show is also introducing the character of Robert Dudley, Elizabeth\'s historical love interest.

"A wrinkle in the relationship between Elizabeth and her love interest Robert Dudley is his wife Amy, who seems very sweet but maybe isn\'t so sweet," McCarthy said. "She\'s going to be a great fun rival for Elizabeth. She\'s going to be such a thorn in her side. [Amy\'s] a little nuts."

Robert and Queen Elizabeth are childhood friends. Robert wants to move on from his past with the queen, but she uses her power to keep him close.

"There\'s a guest at English court, and that is Catherine de Medici," McCarthy added. "And that\'s an interesting dynamic between those two women because much like Mary, Elizabeth is someone who really was never parented. And Catherine is good at being someone\'s advocate, and much like she was Francis\' advocate, she goes over there, and she strikes up a very personal alliance with Elizabeth."
