SELENA Gomez has credited her mother and step-father for helping her stay grounded.

The teen nyota still lives at nyumbani in what she calls “a Connecticut-style clapboard house” in Los Angeles with her five rescue dogs, and her mom and Brian, who both run Selena’s production company July Moon Productions.

“Living with my mom and Brian helps me to be down-to-earth and to keep things real,” Selena told Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper.

“I consult them about everything I do, especially because my mom is my manager. She’s someone who loves me and wants the best for me. So even though I’m living this life and have been aliyopewa such wonderful opportunities, I still have my parents with me to tell me ‘no’.”

“My mum and I just get to the point and duka — but I just talk and don’t really do anything with my friends,” she added.

“I definitely get zaidi accomplished with my mom. I think we are similar in many ways.”

Gomez recently admitted she’s glad her relationship with Jonas Brothers nyota Nick Jonas ended because being single means she can focus on what’s most important to her.

“I’m happy that is all in the past now,” she alisema of her relationship with the Jonas Brothers rocker.

“I’m very much single, I’m dating myself now — I think if wewe don’t upendo yourself first, no one else will upendo you.”
