Chapter 3: Captured

Kyle slowly awoke, his vision still extremely blurry from being knocked out kwa the tranquil dart. "Ugh... Where am I..." He looked up and down slowly, noticing that his arms were chained to the ceiling, and that his legs were chained to the floor. His ears stood up slowly, remembering that Kagen had gotten shot with a tranquil dart as well. "Kagen...? Are wewe in here with me...?" He looked around slowly, searching for his black and red fox, mbweha friend.

"H-He's in the c-cage right inayofuata t-to you, h-hedgehog." A woman's voice spoke. It sounded the same as the voice that Kyle had heard right before he got shot with the tranquil dart.

Kyle turned his head, squinting his eyes as the cage inayofuata to him. He could see Kagen chained to the floor, still unconscious. "Kagen! Wake up!"

"D-Don't bother, hedgehog. H-He's not g-going to wake u-up any time s-soon. T-Those tranquil d-darts were pretty p-powerful," The woman said. It sounded like her voice was coming closer.

Kyle turned his head towards the direction that the voice was coming from, squinting his eyes to see if he could possibly see who was talking to him. He watched as a cloaked figure slowly walked out of the shadows. "Who are you...?" He asked, observing the cloaked figure's face. It looked like a female hedgehog, though she seemed to have a robotic red eye.

"M-My name is S-Sniper. I-I'm the gun s-specialist of the D-Dark Horses," The hedgehog replied, a somewhat evil grin on her face. She stepped up to the cage, staring in at Kyle. "W-What's your n-name?"

"Now why exactly would I tell wewe my name...?" Kyle asked, releasing a quiet growl of anger. "Let me go!"

"I-I told wewe my n-name... So w-why can't y-you tell m-me yours?" Sniper asked with a small smirk. "A-Anyway, I'm afraid t-that I can't let wewe g-go. T-That's my b-boss's decision to m-make, not m-mine." She replied.

"Then where's your boss...?" Kyle asked, slowly becoming slightly interested in finding out who the leader could be.

"That's for us to know," Another voice spoke. It didn't seem to be coming from the hedgehog. Instead, the voice belonged to what looked like a male grey bat.

"I want to know! Tell me!" Kyle said. "Why am I even chained like this?! It's not like I have any powers au anything!"

"Don't try to hide it. We know that wewe have powers. We also know how powerful they can be... We've seen them in action before," Another voice spoke, which belonged to a female white-grey wolf.

"Who are wewe people?! I've never seen any of wewe before in my life! How could wewe have seen my Dark Energy powers before?!" Kyle exclaimed, slightly freaked out. Who were these people? Did they know everything about him?

"We've been watching wewe for quite some time now," Another voice spoke, which belonged to a female black cat. "Our leader has told us to observe you. Although, I don't think any of us really know why, but our leader has aliyopewa us strict orders to keep a close eye on you."

Kyle released a growl of anger, pulling his arms apart as hard as he could. He desperately wanted to get out of the chains and attack. "Let me out!" He screamed, still pulling at the chains in anger.

"...I do not think our leader would like it if we released you..." A quiet voice spoke. Kyle wasn't sure exactly what it sounded like. It sounded zaidi male than female, but then it didn't sound like a normal male voice, either. Kyle squinted at the face of this person, quickly becoming confused. It looked like some kind of bright chokaa green and yellow fox, mbweha with bright neon white eyes.

"I don't care what your leader thinks! LET ME OUT!" Kyle yelled, his anger increasing quickly. "Let me and Kagen go!"

"I'm afraid I'm not going to let that happen," A deep, darker male's voice spoke. Kyle raised his head, and noticed another cloaked figure sitting on a kiti cha enzi under dim light. There was a total of six cloaked people in the room. The one on the kiti cha enzi must be the leader.

"Who are all of wewe people?!" Kyle yelled, his ears laying back in anger. He stared straight ahead at the cloaked figure on the throne, expecting answers.

"The wolf's name is Astra. The bat's name is Devin. The hedgehog's name is Sniper, which I think she already told you. The cat's name is Willow. The alien fox's name is Azarika, au so I think," The figure replied, leaning back in the throne. His cloaked face seemed to stare right at Kyle. "If wewe believe that I'm the leader, then wewe are correct. I AM the leader. My name is Vice."

Kyle gave a deep growl as he clenched his fists together tightly in anger. Large black symbols slowly began to appear on his face, but he didn't notice. "Let us go..."

Vice stared at the symbols appearing on Kyle's face, raising his head slightly. A small grin appeared on his black face, right underneth his glowing red eyes, although Kyle couldn't notice from the distance he was at. "...So he DOES have a part of that power..." He thought to himself, his grin growing slightly wider.

"Hey, did wewe hear me?! I alisema let us go!" Kyle yelled in anger, rattling the chains again. The symbols slowly kept appearing on his face, but again, he didn't seem to notice. He watched as Vice slowly stood up, slowly walking towards his cage.

Vice turned his head slowly, looking over at the other five members of the gang. "Watch the fox, mbweha boy, okay? I've got a little bit of... business to take care of with the hedgehog..."

Kyle's eyes widened as he watched Vice unlock his cage and step inside. Now that he was closer, Kyle could see the almost maniacal grin on Vice's face. He couldn't tell what kind of animal Vice was just kwa looking at his face. Whatever he was, it wasn't something Kyle had ever seen before. "What are... What are wewe planning to do?!" He asked, getting a little freaked out. He looked over at Kagen quickly, seeing that he was still out cold and surrounded kwa Vice's little servants. "Kagen, wake up! We have to get out of here!"

"Hey, eyes over here, boy. I have something to onyesha you," Vice replied in a dark, sinister voice. He held his hands up, and grinned as they slowly morphed into giant black claws. "Mezame..." As he spoke that, his claws lit up bright red, as if that word activated some kind of spell au something such as that.

"Mezame...?" Kyle tilted his head to the side, trying to figure out what that word could have meant. It seemed... strangely familiar to him for some reason. "What are wewe doing...?"

Vice stepped up to Kyle slowly, staring into his eyes with glowing red eyes that seemed to pierce through him. His eyes glinted slowly as he raised his claws. "Mezame Vampira!" He yelled, before digging his red claws deep into Kyle's thin sides.

Kyle's eyes shot wide open in an instant. He let out a near ear-piercing scream, pain now shooting all through out his body. He felt like his energy was being drained from him. Either that au he felt like some other kind of energy was taking over what energy he had. He couldn't tell which.

The loud sound of Kyle's screaming soon woke Kagen from his sleep. Kagen jerked his head up, still chained to the floor. "Kyle?! What's going on?!"

"You've been captured kwa us. Can wewe not notice that?" Sniper said, standing in front of Kagen's cage with the others. "Our leader is taking care of your little friend."

Kagen's ears layed back, still hearing Kyle's screams of pain. "What are wewe doing to him?! You're hurting him!"

"Correction, our leader is hurting him, not us," Willow teased, crossing her arms. "Anyway, our leader is getting what he wants from your friend. We were just told to stand here and guard wewe JUST in case wewe figured out some way to escape."

Kagen released a growl of anger, pulling at the chains that bound him to the floor. "Kyle's going to take all of wewe down when he gets free! And I'll help him! Villains like wewe never get away with your plans while he's around!"

Astra rolled her eyes, turning to look at Vice, who still had his claws dug deep into Kyle's sides. "Sir, what should we do with this fox? I think we can agree that he's starting to get on our nerves..." She crossed her arms, expecting a response from Vice, but she was shocked at what response she actually got.

"Take him outside, and let him go. He's no use to me. I only want this hedgehog," Vice replied, turning his head slightly to look at Astra. "Just make sure wewe take him far away from here... He doesn't need to know how to get back in here."

"Yes, sir..." Astra replied, turning back to the others. She looked over at Sniper. "Tranquil darts at the ready," She said, walking up to Kagen's cage. She unlocked the door and walked inside, reaching for the chains that held Kagen down.

"Oh no, wewe don't! I'm not leaving without my best friend!" Kagen yelled angrily. However, he was soon silenced kwa a tranquil dart to his neck. He fell to the floor, not moving.

Astra unlocked his chains and picked Kagen up, handing him over to the bat named Devin. "Take him far away from here. Make sure he's far away before he wakes up."

"Alright," Devin replied, carrying Kagen towards a long hallway, which must have been where the exit was. "Don't worry, he won't wake up anywhere near here!"

Kyle growled through his clenched teeth, trying to ignore the sharp pain that was still shooting up and down his entire body. He couldn't songesha even his head anymore. Whatever Vice was doing with those claws, it was keeping Kyle from moving an inch. "Don't... hurt my friend!" He tried to say, but it was hard to make that out because he still had his teeth clenched.

"Don't worry, we want nothing to do with your friend... I just want to deal with YOU," Vice replied with a sinister smile.

"What do wewe even want from me?!" Kyle asked before clenching his teeth together tightly again as another wave of pain surged through his body. "What are wewe doing to me?!"

"Why, taking your dark powers, of course," Vice replied with a sinister laugh. "I'll become strong with your power, and wewe won't be able to stand up against me without it! You'll be nothing!"

Kyle let out another scream, which was a scream of both anger and pain. The symbols began appearing again, except this time they were slowly forming and then turning golden. "Get away from me!" He screamed, a sudden pulse of black energy shooting out of him.

Vice's eyes went wide as the energy came out of Kyle. He was blown away from Kyle, his claws coming out of his sides. "AGH!" Vice screamed as he flew backwards away from the cage, landing hard on the concrete floor.

The other gang members turned, staring at shock at their leader on the floor. "What just happened, Vice?!" Astra exclaimed in pure shock of what had just happened. "What did that hedgehog do to you?!"

Vice slowly raised up off of the ground, trembling slightly in pain. He mumbled quietly as his large claws slowly morphed back into his normal hands, seeming to be using some other kind of ability. He stared at Kyle, looking at the glowing symbols that covered his face and part of his body. "...Postivie Rasoul..." He thought to himself, still observing the golden symbols. "No wonder he repelled me... That Rasoul is harder to control..."

Kyle took a deep breath, a slight rush of dizziness rushing through his head. When his energy pulsed out like that, it left some kind of side effect. He felt fairly dizzy now, and maybe just a bit stamina drained. The symbols on his body slowly started to disappear, although he didn't notice them in the first place. "Ugh... Too much energy came out... Now I feel *tired... (*If Kyle uses too much of his powers at once, he becomes tired from over energy usage*)" He alisema to himself. He raised his eyes, giving a small glare at Vice. "Now, let me go...!"

Vice stood up slowly, staggering just a bit from the pain that he received when he had hit the floor. "Alright... So I can't take your powers, it seems... No matter. You'll still be no match for me. I am still zaidi powerful than you... And with help from my servants, you'll finally have met your match, hedgehog..."

Kyle pulled at the chains that held him to the ceiling and floor again, trying to escape again. "No, I will be a match for you! I haven't seen a villain yet that has been able to beat me! I mean, I've Lost to villains before, but I usually always wind up coming back in the end! I know I can beat you! You're no different than those other villains that I've fought before!"

Vice released a growl of anger, getting angry at the fact that he couldn't take Kyle's power. He looked over at his servants. "Prepare a cell for him. We're keeping him here."

"Yes, sir," They all replied, turning and disappearing into the nearby hallway.

"You're not keeping me here! I won't let you!" Kyle growled, trying to charge up his dark powers again. He tried to send out another pulse to attack Vice, but he couldn't due to the fact that he had used up too much of his energy with the first pulse.

"Not like wewe can stop me, kid," Vice mocked, stepping up into Kyle's cage once again. "It's not like wewe can fight against these large claws," He said, holding his hands up as they became claws once more.

Kyle growled, still trying to send out another pulse of energy, to no avail, however. "No! I'm not going to stay here!"

"You have no choice, boy." Vice alisema with a snicker, walking closer to Kyle before stabbing his claws into Kyle's side once more.

Kyle let a scream of pain out again, and he almost immediately felt like he was losing zaidi stamina kwa the second. It soon became hard for him to even keep his eyes open. "What... What did wewe just do..."

"A sleep spell. au a knock-out spell. Whatever wewe want to call it," Vice replied, pulling his claws back out of Kyle's sides. He moved a few steps back as his hands reverted back to normal. "Sleep tight, boy..."

Kyle struggled to keep his eyes open, but he couldn't no matter how hard he tried. His eyes slowly closed, and his head slowly lowered down on its own. "You... can't... keep me... here..." He tried to move, but he couldn't songesha at all. His body fell limp, and he drifted in and out of sleep.

Kyle felt his body slowly being lowered out of the chains that he was bound in. He struggled to open his eyes, but he couldn't. He couldn't even songesha his fingers. He felt himself being carried for a short while, and then he felt himself being laid down on the cold, hard concrete floor. He heard the sound of footsteps walking away, and then he heard the sound of a large iron door slowly closing. However, he couldn't shake the feeling that someone had stayed in the room with him. "Who's... here...?" He could barely speak, and he definitely couldn't see the blurry figure that stood before him.

"It's just me, boy," Vice's voice spoke. He kneeled down in front of Kyle. "I will figure out one way au another to get your powers away from you. With your power combined with mine, I can ensure that nothing will stand in my way... And I can ensure that Echilon won't be able to stop me like he did so many years ago..."

Kyle's slowly stood up. He was trying to figure out if he had really just understood what Vice had just said. "...Echilon...? Who's that...? What... what did he do to you...? Who in the world are YOU...?" He listened the best he could, hearing Vice walk back towards the door. "Hey... Answer me..."

"It doesn't matter who he is... You'll probably never know, anyway..." Vice opened the iron door, and then stopped in the doorway. He turned his head slowly, looking back at Kyle. "...I am the Omega of Rasoul..." He whispered quietly, before walking out of the room and shutting the door behind him.

Kyle struggled to keep his consciousness, now slipping in and out of sleep zaidi than before. "Rasoul...? What... did he mean...? What's... Rasoul...?" He couldn't think about what he had been told much longer, because he soon fell into a deep sleep. However, as he drifted off to sleep, he couldn't help but feel that someone... was still in the room with him.
