I then realised that the crows would do anything i said. I immediately walked and hid inayofuata to the pack. A mbwa mwitu saw me and shouted:
"Its furor", Guards and Mantro walked out from the den. I smiled "Attack", the crows swooped down and started eating the Mbwa mwitu loups alive. Matro looked at me shocked, then ran of, leaving his pack to die. I smiled and walked back the way i came. I walked up to a nearby lake and started to drink from it then i saw my reflection, it looked completely different from what i looked like. It was an older version of myself. I looked scruggy, but young. I looked ill and pale....

Seth's story part 1

Snow was falling, steadily and slowly. The mercyless wind blew... Sucking the life from the weak and chilling the hearts of the strong... Sometimes, wewe feel as if life isn't worth living anymore... That's exactly how I feel... My name is Seth, formerly called Tiny, and this is my story. I am 3 years old, and I belong to the Anubian mbwa mwitu pack. I am a beta at moyo and I am ranked as one as well. I have dusky grey fur, manyoya with a white underbelly and chest. I am muscular and relatively good looking, therefore making me a desirable male. I honestly don't know what pushes me on......

I was just a runt when I was born. I didn't want to leave my mother either. Brooke smiles as she licks my head and looks at ym father Thantos who just nods at her. "She's wonderful" he says walking over to get a better look of me. My fur, manyoya was all brown except fro a few black hairs at this time. Brooke just smiled.

The inayofuata mwaka is not what I expected. "Daddy7?" I ask as I walk around. "Daddy?!" I am yelling now. I start to get scared as I get no responce. "DADDY?!" I am screaming now......No responce. I frown and look at my mother who is just looking at me. "Crystal come here sweetie." Slowly...

Part V - A Bright Twinge of Comfort ( the last one)

In the pre-sunrise mist a beaver, biva prepares for the impending winter.
There were times as a young, insecure and awkward child when I myself felt a need to withdraw to a place secluded and impenetrable where I could be left alone, unfettered and harassed kwa a confusing, intimidating, and at times down right terrifying world of adults where I frequently felt misunderstood and wrongly labeled.

To the dismay of my parents and teachers it was in my imagination where I spent most of my childhood, choosing to keep company with my thoughts which never...

Part II - The Endless Hum

This brave little pine martin allowed me to creep within eight feet before bolting.
I am painfully aware that in my attempt to write a book about my quest to find and photograph wild Mbwa mwitu loups in Minnesota I have been preceded in this task kwa men with extraordinary talent for writing, for photography, and for finding and studying wolves. I have read the vitabu of Jim Brandenburg and David Mech multiple times and lived the life of my dreams vicariously through their efforts. I have a deep respect for them and an even deeper upendo for their work, and their vitabu have been...

Relatively late in the evolutionary history of miacids came the appearance of the first canid (Cynodictis), one of these was called the dawn-wolf, this creature had a long body and looked like a enlongated fox, it could live and climb in trees, it was also thought to possibly related to feline species. Some authorities believe that canids originated in North America and then spread to Asia and South America, while others ascribe that a small type of mbwa mwitu crossed into siberia from alaska, where it eventually developed into the larger, present-day grey wolf. The grey mbwa mwitu then migrated to North...

In a normal den, the birthing chamber lies at the end of a tunnel that may be up to 15 feet long in soft soil. The pango is often slightly elevated above the rest of the tunnel, and no den-lining material is used. The mother keeps the pango clean kwa eating fecal mater of her pups. The birthing chamber is usually about three feet in diameter and about two feet high.

Shortly before giving birth, a pregnant female will seek out a den. Dens may be a deep riverbank hollow, a cleft between rocks, a hollow log, a space under an upturned mti au a space under a rock overhang. Sometimes Mbwa mwitu loups will use abandoned...

The alpha pair has the greatest amount of social freedom among all the pack members, but they are not "leaders" in the human sense of the term. The alphas do not give the other Mbwa mwitu loups orders; rather, they simply have the most freedom in choosing where to go, what to do, and when to do it. The rest of the pack usually follows. There are various subordinates, who dominate the omega. The omega is the lowest. It is the baby-sitter and usually zaidi puppy than wolf.

In larger packs, there may be also be a beta mbwa mwitu au Mbwa mwitu loups - a "second-in-command" to the alphas. In addition, one mbwa mwitu typically assumes...

mbwa mwitu Injuries

Wolves can get injuries from large prey wanyama that defend themselves, when the pack attacks a large moose au bison they can receive injuries from kicks and if the prey had antlers au horns it can cause a lot of damage. Mbwa mwitu loups can be trampled under the hooves, Artist George Catlin reported an 1844 attack on a buffalo kwa a pack of Mbwa mwitu loups in which two of the Mbwa mwitu loups had been crushed to death under the hooves of the animal.

Man also causes injuries to wolves, leg-hold traps, illegal hunting, Mbwa mwitu loups being hit kwa cars (rare), poisoning (one mbwa mwitu was known to die from drinking from a...

Mbwa mwitu loups will also eat nyasi to purge their digestive system when they have eaten something that does not agree with them. chakula sources may differ and change depending on the season and geographical area, when large prey wanyama are scarce Mbwa mwitu loups will prey on mice, Rabbits and squirrels, these smaller prey do not provide a substantial part of the wolf's diet but supplement it when larger prey are scarce.

Beavers play an important roll as an alternative chakula chanzo in the summer months, in some areas 60% of the wolf's diet is beaver.

One of the most odd part of the diet of Mbwa mwitu loups is fish! Biologist Bod Bromley once observed a mbwa mwitu in Canada's Northwest Territories catch five samaki in fifteen dakika in the Talston River.

Mbwa mwitu loups will also scavenge, In one study of moose carcasses in Algonquin Park, of 30 moose only 4 were killed kwa wolves, the rest died of natural causes.

Mbwa mwitu loups will also eat wild berries and other matunda as a minor part of their diet.
When Fara opened her eyes, the first thing she noticed was not the blaring traffic outside, but rather the lack of it. In its place were the sounds she was used to- birdsong, whispering leaves and, most wonderful of all, the Cry. It seemed so close, so tantalizingly near, that Fara ran at the cage ukuta in frustration. But instead of feeling the cold bars slam into her body, she found herself falling through swirling color and light.

Her paws touched the ground again, but this time, the rough concrete concrete had gone, replaced kwa smooth rock, carved kwa wind, rain, ice and time. To her surprise,...

"Blake, what the hell?"I said.
"Shhhh, wewe dont want to wake Ronna,"he alisema quietly
I looked down and I realized that Blake was right and she hadnt woken when blake came in.
"You are the only mbwa mwitu that seems to be able to sense when im around."He whispered.
"Here, lets go out in the other room where we don't have to whisper."
He nodded and paced out of the room. I rose slowly so I wouldn't wake Ronna. She whimpered softly as i moved. I smiled down at her and touched her side with my nose and it seems to calm her.
As i exited the bedroom the first thing I saw was Garret tied up in the center of the...

As I entered my apartment my eyes were immediately drawn to the two burly Mbwa mwitu loups in the corner. I recognized them immediately and that meant another problem was around here somewhere.
"You two,"I called,"where is Kane."
They looked at each other and then the one on the left decided to answer.
"Sir, Kane is waiting for wewe with Ronna in the inayofuata room,"he said,"and sir?"
"Yes?"
I replied calmly even though my nerves felt pretty shot today.
"Sir, hes not in a very good mood."
"Thank you."
It appeared even the bodyguards of my rival were worried how things would go.
I padded through the opening to confront...

I watched the pack walk away with that traitor Garret.I finally started to feel some of the angry that I had missied during my conversation. I sighed.
"They should have known they could not just leave."
Those that were still loyle to me stood stiffly waiting to see what I would do.
"Go back to the den, all of wewe those others should be along shortly,"I ordered,"along with Garret I would think."
They looked at me, but did as I ordered.
"Blake," I barked,"come out of those shadows to where I can see you."
A tall, black, mbwa mwitu stood and padded forward.
His fur, manyoya was pitch black and I knew that at...

"Often the world around us feels dark and alone, and our hearts cry out for peace, love, stillness, and joy. Yet we forget that we are always surrounded kwa light and warmth and it is already ours. We just have to reach out for it."

I alisema as I looked out among my gathered pack.

"The men fear us and our beasts because they do not understand the beast inside themselves. The savage part of them that they deny. The part that is zaidi like us. They cannot stand it, so they reject us and themselves. They hurt us and hunt us out of fear that is all."

As he alisema this, a mbwa mwitu ,old in the pack, approached...
