Just look at the images. Seasons 4-6 just don't even feel like the same show to me. Honestly I hate these 3 seasons, I really I do. I don't even feel like I'm watching the same show; it's like watching a new show but the characters have all the same names as the characters from the other show and are drawn similar.

For one all the girls seem to look the same and dress the same. They used to have originality. The transformations like Magic Winx weren't so uniformed as they are now. Now they have the same outfit with a different color palate which is a darn shame. Those school uniform things are really horrendous. They're casual attire used to actually reflect their personalities.

Another thing that gets me is that it seems like the show is aimed at a younger audience now, Winx used to be more mature. It used to have more mature themes and more mature dialects. Now it's all happy bubbly and cheerful. Hell, season 5 had this whole unnecessary, irrelevant go green theme prior seasons never would have had. Inigo is running out of ideas.

Also everything is super girly and glittery now. The personalities are almost becoming the same. Musa and Tecna used to be tomboys...Bloom even used to wear pants. Now it's all skirts and heels and prissy attitudes. They are all practically one person and that person is Stella--all about make up and shopping and boys.

It's a joke really.

For sure, I hope the 7th season will be better than 5th and 6th but I think it will be more of them

In all honesty I've not really been watching the later seasons much, but mostly for the reasons you've mentioned. I love the early seasons and how the show is about a group of friends with a range of personalities and interests, and was looking forward to seeing their characters develop throughout future episodes. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. Instead, they kinda did the opposite and took their personalities and individuality away!

I also feel the writers got carried away with transformations. Maybe that's where all their creativity and energy is going to, instead of developing the characters themselves?

Ah well. Thank goodness for reruns - I do still enjoy re-watching the old episodes!

^^ Yes the excess transformations are just becoming messy and confusing. I wish they would have matured the show with their original audience instead of trying to pick up a new one that it simply didn't take to. And exactly it wasn't character development it was more so character regression.

Seasons 5-6 yeah.

I think season four still retained what I loved about the show. The characters are still well, different and not archetypes, the plot is fairly good too. The minor characters get some love, and although Believix and all of its add-ons were tedious, at least they made more sense than Harmonix or Bloomix.

Four isn't as bad. I just missed Icy and that's why it felt wrong to me.

I'm glad I stopped watching the show after season 3.

I am glad that you included season 4 because I think that season 4 was the first season in which things started to change.My problem with season 4LFirst of all I honestly think that Winx Club should have ended after season 3 and"Secret Of The Lost Kingdom"movie,Bloom found her parents and even got her kingdom so what's the point in wanting to continue a story that already ended?It was quite obvious that Iginio originally planned to end Winx Club after season 3 and the first movie but then he thought about all the money that he would get if he would continue the series,in season 3 it wa stated that Enchantix is the last fairy stage than all of sudden we find out that there is another transformation called Believix,I don't like the plot about the Winx going to Earth to make people believe in fairies again because in my opinion faries should be portrayed as mystical creatures unknow to the human world,all the bulshit relationship drama(Sky getiing jealous of Bloom,Stella getting jealous of Brandon,Musa and Riven constantly fighting with each other),all the talk about Musa's career but in the end Bloom becomes the lead singer of the band,Musa becomes a 100% girly girl with skirt and high heels,Believeix was just look terrible,too much damn transformation(Sophix ,Lovix and the Speedix,Zoomiz and Tracix wings) and the magic pets were unnecessary characters.Don't get me wrong despite these flaws I still like season 4 because the plot about Roxy and the Earth Fairies was good,the Wizards were good villains,it had some pretty good new characters like Roxy,Nebula(one of my favorite Winx characters) and Morgana and I like the fact that Iginio went a little bit darker on this season by focusing on themes like war,genocide,revenge and he even killed off one of the main male characters(Nabu)however this season is still not as good as the first 3 seasons and was the one in which the damage began.Season 5 is an absolute mess,the idiotic and unnecessary environment theme,Tritannus being a crappy villain,changing Icy into a love sick teenage girl,all the stupid wardrobe changes,bringing Daphne back to life(even though I liked her in season 6,I still think that it was unnecessary to bring her back) and the fact that everything is so damn easy to solve for example:Tritannus does for once something that is threatening to the magic dimension like almost sinking the whole magic dimension in darkness by staling the seal of the Pillar of Light and ruining the balance by stealing the seal of the Pillar of Balance but then everything turns easy peasy lemon squeezy because the Winx manage to restore the Pillars were all terrible.Season 6 is a guilty pleasure for me lol.Its still crap compared to the first 3 seasons and season 4 but it is much better than season 5 and 7,at least this season had an actual plot,some good villains,ended the tiresome and annoying Musa and Riven relationship,I liked the fact that this season didn't end with the Winx throwing a part or keeping a concert,it was nice to see Hagen's 2D debut and seeing Nebula agian,I like the fact that we get to see Tecna's parents and Flora' mother in this season and I actually liked Bloomix(even though I think that I am the only person on this spot that likes it XD).Season 7 was a mess just like season 5.The only good thing about it was that Roxy got more screen time.The plot was crap,they went back to the idiotic environment theme(this time about saving animals) and the plot was also way too childish(especially the idotic mini worlds that the Winx entered),Kalshara started out as a good villain but become crap(the way she was defeated was laughable at best) and don't get me even started on the come back of the Trix and how humiliating their defeat was and the Winx didn't even do anything to defeat the Trix,they just stand there unable to do anything.And the worst of all is that there is going to be a season 8 and there is no hope for this season to be good.
