Book 1 of The Eden Chronicles, A Little Bit zaidi Than Love, takes place during the demon wars. The story follows Crown Prince Kikikyo as he comes into his own in Eden.
The following is excerpted from Part 2.
The assembled creatures stood on a ledge, observing the scene. Perched on the shoulder of a huge pale dhahabu dragon, a yellow and black phoenix stared at the southern horizon.
"She approaches. Should one of us fly out to meet her?" the phoenix asked.
"No. She's made the trip plenty of times before," the dragon answered. His smooth voice did not betray his concern for the approaching female. "I'll call to her. That way, she can follow the sound of my voice," he said, seemingly in answer to his unspoken thoughts.
Just then, a round-sided white stallion trotted up to the ledge. His wings were folded tightly against his flanks. The dhahabu dragon ignored the horse. Instead, he focused his full attention on the distant horizon. The phoenix on his shoulder flared its wings as the dragon extended his neck, the better for the call to travel.
PLEASE NOTE: The above is an entire chapter of the story. The final published version (what wewe will see in bookstores) will be a much longer edition.
Also, wherever possible, I will translate and identify the languages. I will also provide pronunciation guides as well as notes on the finer points of the various languages.
Eden is an ancient planet, with many races (called Kinds) and many languages. This world also has a rich history, fraught with kings and queens, demons and monsters, heros and villians. A Little Bit zaidi Than upendo takes place relatively late in Eden's history. The inayofuata several volumes in the series follow each generation up until the invasion.

I stood kwa you,
Ever so proudly,
In the darkness of war,
Never betraying you,
Always kwa your side.
I protected you,
Never let wewe down when
Things got rough,
I stood kwa you
Through siku and night,
Summer and winter.
Stand kwa me now,
Be my loyal friend,
Never falter when the Fuhrer
Shoots his nasty gaze down at you.
Be strong,
My faithful friend.
Be strong,
And protect me from the evils
Of the world.
Be strong,
Never falter,
And always have courage.
Go now, my faithful friend.
Run free.

Okay, some Marafiki and I made up a song we call, "The Hunger Games" to the tune of "Glad wewe Came"
Okay here it goes,
The sun goes down, the tributes come out.
And all I know, is Cato's here now.
My leg will never be the same.
The Hunger Games, The Hunger Games.
(All of the o o o o o o o 's... xD)
wewe cast a spell on me, spell on me.
wewe hit me like your present fell on me, fell on me.
I decided wewe work well with me, well with me.
So let's go somewhere no one else can see wewe n' me
Turn the lights out NOW.
Now I'll take wewe kwa the hand.
Hand wewe some medicine.
Drink it if wewe can.
Can wewe spend a little time?
Time is slipping away.
Away from us, so stay.
Stay with me, I can make, make wewe Victor.
(And then wewe repeat. ツ I think of this every time I hear "Glad wewe Came")

Now that wewe left me....
My soul is crying
Out to the world
Above me.
Now that wewe left me....
I couldn't figure out
How to go on with life
And I stayed right on....
With my despair.
Now that wewe left me....
wewe broke my heart,
And now it's covered in broken glass,
Oh broken glass......
It's time to songesha on now...
But I can't help feeling the tragedy
Of that lonesome night...
How the world jeered at me.
The world hurt me.
There's no zaidi hope left,
So face the truth.
I am a piece of broken glass,
Shimmering in the dark and dreary night
My moyo broke
When it felt like the end of the world...
And boy, was it the end of the world.
I was broken glass,
And nobody seemed to care about me.
I am broken glass.
I am heartbroken.
I am...
No more.
My soul is crying
Out to the world
Above me.
Now that wewe left me....
I couldn't figure out
How to go on with life

With my despair.

So here i am
stuck inside this house
im wondering if i
will ever make it out
now point wondering
if there isnt an answer
just try to belive
here we are
stuck in this house
back where we started
we wont ever make it out
just here to ask
even if there is no reply
if wewe believe
wewe turn to me
wewe say it slow
your voice is deep
"how do we know,"
i shrugg my shoulders
wewe reply
"I believe in wewe and i"
then i know
without a doubt
that these four walls
can keep up trapped
but wewe will always
upendo me
even if wewe are
a stuffed monkey
stuck inside this house
im wondering if i
will ever make it out
now point wondering
if there isnt an answer
just try to belive
