Iris
It felt like being hit in the gut, I just couldn’t believe it. Not saying I’m bossy au anything, but I didn’t want to walk alone in a deserted park, but I did anyway.
What I was not ready for, however, was the real pain in my stomach when I was pushed to the ground, hitting my fragile head in the process. Ready to let people hear my screams all the way from China, I turned around, and was startled to see a black thing passing us, flying on the wind.
I knew going to this place was a bad idea.

To sum up the story, we ran fast because we didn’t know what to do, I was still shocked that we managed to outrun the creature. I didn’t even get a good look because it moved so fast.
And yet we survived.
“IRIS!” I yelled running to her. “Iris? Are wewe okay?”
Iris glared at me, pushing my arm away. “I knew going to this place was a bad idea! I could’ve been killed if it weren’t for Mikey!”
“Iris, we didn’t know,” I argued.
Iris scoffed. “Didn’t know? A mysterious death happened here and it became deserted and wewe didn’t know something like this could happen! wewe should’ve!”
“Iris I’m sorry,” I said.
“Well so am I,” Iris yelled, standing up, and helping Mikey up. “Thanks Mikey.”
Mikey gave her a small smile, “here to help.”
Iris nodded, before turning to the rest of us. “Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going home.”
“Iris,” Stilere yelled, chasing after her, with us close following her heels.
“Leave me alone!” Iris yelled, turning around. “You guys were so keen on leaving me to go nyumbani alone before!”
Stilere rolled her eyes. “I would’ve chased wewe anyways butthead, that thang messed me up.”
“I just want to be alone,” Iris alisema in a small voice, walking backwards.
“Then let me take wewe nyumbani and I’ll leave wewe alone,” Stilere paused. “Let Mikey come with us too. Please?”
Stilere gave Iris her special puppy dog eyes, and Iris eventually gave in. “Fine! But just wewe two!”
Stilere grinned, gave us a thumbs up, and with Mikey walked away with a very furious Iris in the lead. When they were gone I looked at the guys, who looked shocked and really guilty, just as I felt.
“She’ll get over it,” I said, but I knew it’ll take a while. I looked back to the park, which was very far away now, since we ran out of there. It looked as harmless as it did when we entered, but there was something so sinister about it. Like it was a perfect disaster waiting to happen.
Hopefully we won’t be there inayofuata time to see it.
