"I have a headache but everything else seems fine" I alisema concentrating on my sensations "How long have I been unconscious?"

"No... I don't think so..." I just wanted to get out of here "So... Can I leave now?" I looked at him hopefully.
"You can leave any time wewe want, but please listen to my advice and stay here this night just in case. Emmett brought here your car, but it might be a little dangerous to drive right now" Just great! I wasn't afraid of them any zaidi but I didn't felt the need to stay for too long. I wished to come nyumbani so I stood up and... My spinning head decided to use his advice.

"How's your head?"

"How can wewe stand him?" I asked her "He's so..." but Alice stopped me
"He's just overprotective - that's all" and she laughed.
"I would find some other words to describe him"
"Did wewe forget that I'm sitting right here?" Jasper snarled but I only laughed loudly. I was too much pissed kwa him to be scared. And when I wanted I could easily piss other people too.
"So wewe hear us talking?" I asked in sarcastic tone "I thought wewe were too busy on creating plans how to anihilate everything that's on your way" he looked at me like it would be hard to believe that someone can offend him.
"Ouch! This girl bites!" Emmett was almost rolling on the floor and laughing.
"Do wewe need anything? Water? Coffee? Are wewe hungry?" Esme suddenly came and she was nice as always.
"No, thank you, I need just some fresh air" and I went to porch. The night was cold but refreshing.
"Hmm.." I heard someone clearing her throat. "I didn't want to interrupt you..." I turned my head to see Bella.
"Yes?"
"Can I ask wewe something?"
"Sure" I wished I won't regret this later.
"I just noticed that you're not very afraid of us"
"Should I be?"
"No, it just... Not many people treats with us so, so... Normally"
"I wonder why" I spoke ironically again "Maybe it's somehow related to the place you're living?" I showed the woods. "Or the fact that wewe doesn't age? au that some of wewe like threatening?"
She only laughed quietly "Can I ask wewe something else? Something really personal?"

"When Jasper mentioned becoming one of us, wewe considered it for a while, but at the end wewe turned it down. Can I ask why? Don't get me wrong, there are some downsides of this life, but wewe don't know them and from your perspective it should look like... "
"Like being beautiful, rich and immortal?" I sugggested
"Yes" she was waiting for my answer. But I wasn't sure whether I want to answer.
"It just, I don't know how to explain" I paused "But I believe in balance - wewe have to give something in order to get. What should I sacrifice to become one of you?" she nodded and I knew that she didn't any other explanation, but I decided to tell her the true reason. "How can I accept such long and interesting existence when I'm sure I haven't deserved this one simple short human life?"
Her eyes widened but before she could ask me anything else I went back to living room. I had things in my life I didn't want to remember.
