Catherine and Heathcliffe are such complex characters, sometimes whilst kusoma the book wewe don't know weather to hate them au like them, Heathcliffe is far from your typical hero, he is dark brooding, unperdicatble, coarse in manner and speech, Catherine I feel is sometimes deserving of a good slap, she is flirty and flighty and has no qualms about marrying poor devoted Linton despite being very much in upendo with Heathcliffe ilitumwa zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita

kusoma the book now, what an incredible piece of literature.

Just finished the book, omg, one of my favorites! "...and wondered how anyone could ever imagine unquiet slumbers, for the sleepers in that quiet earth." Can't wait to watch the movie. ilitumwa zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita

I'm almost done with the book. My aunt gave it to me when I was in middle school, but I had a hard time kusoma it. I figure at 29, it's about time. Hands down one if my favorites. I shamefully admit to kusoma on Wikipedia what happens as I still struggle with the writing, but it gets easier with every page. Geez... I just watched the movie for the first time :O god, i heard a lot about the story but i didn't knew it :o i always wanted to read it... and now i want it zaidi than ever... One of the things I upendo about this book is that it shouldnt work, but it is brillant, so it does work.
I mean, alot of the characters are unlikeable. Catherine can be a brat, and she dies half way throught the book. Then Heathcliff becomes a monster.
I also upendo that, in the end, it seems like the inayofuata generation (Cathy and Hareton) is on a better path. ilitumwa zaidi ya mwaka mmoja uliopita
