I enjoy making toffee, and I upendo how everyone gets happy when they have a taste of the sweet, buttery Candy which, when properly made, is just hard enough to provide a crunch, but crumbles without hurting the teeth (like brittle sometimes can if it's made too thick).
It's really simple to make... just melt butter, sugar, a pinch of salt, and a little vanilla extract at the end. To make English toffee, kanzu, koti with chokoleti and juu with almonds.

1. Auckland War Memorial Museum. This museum has a great collection of Maori culture including cultural presentations as well as Maori art and buildings rebuilt inside the museum. The War Memorial part of the museum name leads many to believe the museum is a museum devoted to military history, but in actuality it refers to the building and the grounds as a memorial for the soldiers who Lost their lives in World War I. Personally, I think it's kind of awesome to build a war memorial that focuses on culture and learning.
