Tressa waddled to catch up with Marlene, Lexii and Emma, who were at their Lockers.
“Okay, so… Spill!” Marlene asked Tressa excitedly.
“Spill what?” Tressa gave them a confused look.
“Don’t give us that look, Tress!” Lexii alisema with a sarcastic smile, “We know wewe were blushing back there, Girl!”
Tressa felt her Cheeks turning bright red… again.
“Ohmygosh! wewe totally have a Crush on that Guy, don’t you?” Emma blurted out.
“What? Kowalski? No, I don’t!” Tressa protested, “Why would wewe think that?”
“We saw wewe helping him up. wewe even picked up his Books! wewe both were digging each other, I can feel it!” Marlene alisema teasingly.
“I just feel bad for the Guy, that’s all!” Tressa reasoned, looking away.
“My, what happened between wewe and Kowalski?” Emma questioned.
Nothing happened!” Tressa replied sternly, “What could possibly have happened?”
“You know, the usual Couple thingy!” Lexii teased, bursting into laughter.
“No… We just talked like we were really Good Friends… It was… Nice!” Tressa said, smiling at her Friends.
“’Nice’ is Good!” Marlene mentioned, “’Nice’ is what wewe want, right?”
Tressa sighed deeply for a second. Marlene, Lexii and Emma realized Tressa liked Kowalski.
“Don’t worry, Tress! We’re gonna help wewe win Kowalski’s Heart!” Emma suggested, thinking about all the stuff Ryan had told her earlier.
“You… wewe will?” Tressa’s eyes lit up.
“Of course! We know how much wewe like him!” Emma alisema gladly.
“Uh… Emma? I don’t think this is a Good idea! Tressa’s a Cheerleader… and Cheerleaders aren’t supposed to get along with Nerds!” Lexii reasoned out.
“Who cares? We can change that! All is fair in upendo and War, right Tressa?” Emma turned to her Friend.
"Right!" Tressa nodded her head, "What about Amber? How would she take it?"
"Just because she is the Head Cheerleader doesn't mean she has to be mad at her fellow Cheerleader for dating a Nerd!" Emma assured, "Don't worry! We'll not tell the Girls about this. It'll just be our little secret!"
In the Girls’ Bathroom:
Amber was alone in the Girls’ Bathroom.
She was busy, curling and separating her Eye Lashes with a Safety Pin in front of the Mirror.
Even though her Mom told her zaidi than a thousand times that her Cousin, Amber’s Aunt, had put out an Eye that way, she still didn’t bother listening.
Just then, the Door opened and Sharpey waddled in.
“Hey, Amby!” Sharpey said, waddling closer to Amber.
“Oh! Hi, Shar!” Amber looked past the Safety Pin at Sharpey, “What’s with that face?”
She could clearly see the concerned look on her Best Friend’s Face. Well, it was not exactly a ‘Concerned’ look… but it was zaidi like a ‘Devious’ au ‘I’ve-been-dying-to-know-something’ look.
“Like wewe really don't know?” Sharpey frowned a bit, “Well, why do I get the funny feeling that you’re hiding something from us?” She asked curiously.
“Hiding? Hiding something from who? You?” Amber said, going to work on her lower Lashes.
“Well… I don’t know… Us - Our Friends… and me!” Sharpey stated firmly.
Amber placed the Safety Pin in her Handbag and looked up at Sharpey, confused.
“What makes wewe think I’m hiding something?” Amber rolled her eyes.
“Look, Amby!” Sharpey began, “First of, you’ve been uigizaji weird lately. Second, I know wewe well, Amby! You’re my Best Friend! So tell me, what is this all about?” She demanded to know.
Amber’s eyes opened wide. Clearly, Sharpey was still thinking about the Note Amber received and she’s been dying to know about it.
“Is this about the Note, Shar?” Amber asked.
“You got that right!” Sharpey replied, “Lexii told me yesterday that she didn’t even give wewe any Note. She alisema she was good at History and didn’t ask for your help!” She explained.
“Seriously? Lexii’s good at History? Crud! I always thought she hated it!” Amber pointed out.
“Uhuh… But I don’t think you’re getting out of answering this time, Amby!” Sharpey reminded her, frowning a bit, “So… why do wewe look so bummed out?”
“Oh, for the upendo of Me! It’s just some stupid Note I left behind… long ago!” Amber faked a reason, flashing a smile.
“Oh, Really?” Sharpey alisema sarcastically.
Amber tried running out of the Bathroom, but Sharpey blocked the Door…
