ME!!! Personally, I think animal rights and vegetarianism go hand in hand. It doesn't seem right to me to be an animal rights activist and be a cause of their deaths in the first place...
I'm not. I'm sorry, but I'm an energetic person and I need to eat that protein, and sometimes I just crave it. There's a reason we have canine teeth.
The thing I'm against is the WAY they kill the poor wanyama before killing them. I think I heard somewhere with cows that they lock the front part of the cow (the head) right over feeding trough au something, so the cow can't do ANYTHING all siku but eat and dangerously overfill on all that chakula before they finally kill them. >:( Makes me mad! I'm not sure if that's true au not, but the way they treat these wanyama before shipping them off into the chakula we upendo to eat is animal abuse. >:(

Do a little zaidi research on your first statement. wewe will find that humans are naturally herbivorous. Why can't we kill wanyama with our bare hands and nothing else? If wewe see a roadkill deer on the side of the road, do wewe stop for a snack? That is why we are herbivores.
I'm allergic to wheat/gluten (and other things, but that's the biggest one) and I already loose a lot of vital nutrients because of that. I really can't take protein out of my diet as well :/
I am. To be honest, going vegetarian was no big deal for me as my idea of being a meat eater was eating beef once a fortnight. I've generally preferred vegetarian options all my life and only really ate meat because I was aliyopewa it. Upon finding out what meat was made of I stopped eating it immediately; fortunately my parents were completely understanding (my mum's a vegetarian anyway) and I just made sure I was getting a good balanced diet (which, as I alisema before, was no big deal as I already ate a lot of vegetarian options beforehand).
I'm sympathetic towards those who cannot go vegetarian for whatever health/allergy reasons they have, and that there are people who don't actually plan on going vegetarian. They have their reasons, I have mine, and I don't judge people based on their eating habits.
Technically I'm not a vegetarian. I don't eat vegtables but I also don't eat meat. Not because it's from wanyama I just don't like it. So I live off of fruits and other things like that and me being a teenager of course I have to have my un-healthy things. Like chocolate. Hahahah. But I really think it's un-fair how they treat those animals. Once I learned that they had to kill wanyama to get meat I pretty much refuse it because of the taste and it's an animal. I still eat meat once in awhile, but it's not store bought meat it's meat from like a fast chakula place called Chick-fil-a. wewe mainly find that in Southern U.S. but that's real meat not like McDonadls.
So I guess wewe could call me a vegetarian, but I don't eat my veggies.
