I'll admit I was skeptical of her when she first appeared. It wasn't that I didn't like but I felt like she had no character deveopment at all, we didn't really know anything about her and that made me not trust her.
In The Aftermath though when we find out it's her father who's an equalist and Asami stayed loyal to her friends, I really respected and admired her, since then she's been one of my inayopendelewa characters. And after that she continues to onyesha how great a person she is.
Though I upendo Asami I definitely don't ship Masami in any way shape au form. I just thought that from the beginning their relationship was unbearably dull. I felt they didn't really click at all. And when Korra went missing and Asami found out everything, I didn't blame her one bit for how she felt. A lot of people critize her for that and it doesn't really make sense to me, she put aside her feelings and didn't confront Mako until Korra was safe, plenty of people wouldn't even do that.
What I think Asami needs to do after the finale is to leave Republic City and travel, maybe settle down in the moto Nation with a certain General.(hehe) Seriously though even if she doesn't end up with anyone I don't really care. I just want Asami to be happy and Republic City holds too many bad memories for her. Her mother's death, her father's betrayal and now that Mako and Korra are together she'll have to watch her ex, who she still cares for, be with one of her best friends. So yeah if I was her I totes would not want to be around that. Asami is an amazing, strong character, she drives stick like a boss, and I upendo her.

It is well known that the show's creators based each bending style on an existing martial art. Waterbending was based off link, Earthbenders off link, for the most part, Firebenders off link and Airbenders link.

While ATLA focused on mastering these fighting styles in a physical sense that is only on single facet of the training that goes into becoming a master of the martial arts. Body is the easiest. Mind was covered though the opening of the link, a real concept featured in tantric and yogic traditions of Hinduism and Buddhism. If we assume that the writers put as much study and research...

Korra and Mako stop kissing and both let go of their lips. Korra is finally happy to finally have the guy she had loved for so long. Mako is also happy to finally

realize that Korra was really the one for him. Meanwhile inside the pro bending match. Asami saw Bolin holding pink flowers.

"Who are those for?" Asami asked.

"There for Korra. I had fun on my tarehe with her. So I thought I should give her flowers" Bolin alisema with a smile. Asami had a frown on her face.

"Bolin i'm sorry but I think Korra and Mako just got together. He just broke up with me and.... but Bolin cut her off.

"WHAT! She's...

I was kusoma zanhar1's makala link and one thing she alisema really popped out at me. Here's the quote:

"The main reason as to why I think TLOK gets so much hate is because ATLA was such a great onyesha that kwa comparison, Korra just doesn't stand a chance. I mean Avatar was a masterpiece with unbeatable and lovable characters (to the point where one can even upendo the character they hated to some degree!) and a wicked plot. With that in mind I think people set their standards too high. They were expecting something that would blow Avatar away au at least match up with the show. And when Korra was...
