I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Korra Vlogs: The Terror Within
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:

<< Start < Prev 1 2 Next > End >>
He was Lavabending in his first appearance. It\'s how he got out of his prison. Zahir tossed some rocks into the prison and he used them to create a lava saw and cut out of his cage.
I like how the characters also figured out who was responsible pretty quickly. Mako was actually using detective skills.
The truth-seer person let them in and out. I highly doubt that Su is involved. I found this whole assumption of ill-intent for Su that people have been going on about since her introduction to be pretty ridiculous and baseless.
It\'s like people thinking Asami was a villain in her first appearance because she was pretty and so they assumed that meant she was evil.
I don\'t think that Airbending technique could be used while they were trying to defend from attack from every side. Maybe there were risks to it. Who knows? Once Korra was retrieved, they had no choice but to retreat.
I hope Su isn\'t working with them, but someone has enlarged the circus image of Su, and it looks like she\'s being carried by Zaheer in the photo.
Also, about Zaheer and the others escape. It seems like he tried to escape earlier, but was interrupted by the metalbending guards.
Sui Yin is DEFINITELY working for them. You what to know what I think was how Aoi and Zaheer were able to meet? And this ties into Zaheer\'s and Co.\'s backstory and motives.
They were all circus performers. Think about it. Zaheer\'s knowledge over air-bending techniques allows him to balance well, like someone who balances on tightropes . P\'Li and her combustion bending is perfect for entertaining crowds. Ming-Hua\'s armless waterbending works well for freak shows. Ghazan\'s lavabending can create quite a spectacle too. They are basically like Ty Lee with bending powers.
And who else worked on a circus? Aoi and Sui Yin! Both parties must have met YEARS ago under the same circus while Sui Yin was wandering the world. Sui Yin loves the idea of building their idea of a new era. The idea of taking the Avatar when she was young and using her to guide the people into their version of a perfect era would be an idea motive.
Aoi can keep a secret, but Sui Yin can too as well. Remember, Aoi was the one who interrogated Sui Yin. Since he lied about the 18 year old being involved, that can mean he lied about Sui Yin\'s innocence. Plus Korra is definitely walking into a trap since Sui Yin went against Lin\'s wishes.
First of all cant Aoi just have meet with Zaheer in the past or present and teamed up with him cause his ideals match his. Though we still dont know what those ideals are as of now.Its not uncommon in media for someone whos a trusted advisor to turn against the leader. That circus thing is really grasping for straws to find a connection. Also wasint there a picture of the circus group.
Aoi cleared a bunch of other people not just su its just he knew who his scapegoat would be so just waited for him to show up or picked him on the spot then planted the evidence afterwards.
yea su went against Lin but its reasonable since all lin wants to do is lock up the avatar and not let her do her avatar duty. Also lieing to someone so that the heroes can go do there job has been done a billion times with zero evil intetions. Its just a "go get em" moment.
Again there is no reason for Su to be a bad guy it wouldint make sense and again would be poor writing.
"That circus thing is really grasping for straws to find a connection. Also wasint there a picture of the circus group."
Not really. Someone zoomed in on the circus photo and a guy bearing a strong resemblance to Zaheer is seen carrying Suyin: http://x4.fjcdn.com/ pictures/ Suyin+s+Circus.+Who+s+tha t+handsome+bald+man_9d301 3_5238594.png
It\'s not the bald guy holding Sui Yin that is Zaheer. It\'s the bald guy on the stilts. Remember, this was taken way back when Sui Yin and Zaheer were much younger. It\' possible for the stilts man to be Zaheer.
That would explain why she didn\'t want Opal leaving: she was keeping them occupied until Zaheer arrived. Then she lets her go just in time to have her out of the way when they attack.
There was something REALLY annoying me about how Sui and Lin made-up in the previous episode. Sui didn\'t sound sincere at all. But the question is why: Lin was right when she said Sui already has everything she could want.
No she wasint holding Opal back at all. Its clearly said that it was opal choice. Didint sound sincere at all? Guess we saw different episodes. Also to remind you see wanted to make up with her sister for freaking years lin was being to stubborn.
I never said she was holding Opal back, "didn\'t want her to leave" doesn\'t mean it wasn\'t still Opal\'s choice. As for Lin and Suyin, I already addressed that in another forum. Why should Lin be expected to make the effort to go see Suyin when she spent their entire childhood pushing Lin away? Every time Lin tried to get through to her, Suyin threw it back in her face (one time even literally).
Lin should make the effort since Su is trying to build the bridge and become a close family again. Even getting their mother to sort it all out. Shes the one holding her hand out and saying "please lets fix this and be a close family again" Lin slapped that hand away years ago. Im sure if Lin said "hey come to the city I have mom lets talk it out" Su would say okay since su wants to be a family agin. Though Lin would never say those lines she we all know shes stubborn.
the way they got lin there which was cause she was on a job and was basiclly forced to go was the only way she would ever see her sister again.
I don\'t know what circus you guys are talking about, but no, she is not "definitely working for them". We have no reason to think that. Even if she does somehow know them, that doesn\'t mean she\'s working for or with them. I\'m sorry, but we have no evidence to support that whatsoever. She hasn\'t done anything at all to indicate she works with them. Considering she went out of her way to save Korra from them when they could have gotten away if she had simply stood by and done nothing, all the evidence we have points in the exact opposite direction.
Sooo, Doug, I hear Adventure Time vlogs are coming to an end. You should tackle Doctor Who next. Pleeeeaaaasssseeeee? For your fans?
no, he should watch Clone Wars (both of them).
Where did you hear that? Season 6 is still underway, and season 7 has been confirmed. I haven\'t heard or seen anything about ending the vlogs.
Not ending the vlogs, just coming to the end of their streaming line. Like Korra. Soon they will only have episodes to review once a week. When that happens, he can spend the rest of his vloging week reviewing Doctor Who!
To be fair, the writers have confirmed that they originally intended for Asami to be a bad guy, but changed their minds when they decided they liked her as a member of the team too much. Watching the early episodes of Korra it\'s pretty perceptive of them to pick her out as a villain.
But nothing Asami did indicated she was a villain, regardless of their original intent (and I\'d like to see a source on that claim). Thinking she\'s a villain is not "being perceptive". That would be "drawing conclusions without evidence or any reasonable basis".
I mean, if there were some behavior of hers that indicated she was a villain or something, fine. But what did she do that indicated she was evil? I mean, the most I saw was that moment where she accepts the electro-glove from her father and puts it on, and for one brief second it seems like she changed sides. But nothing before that supports the conclusion that she\'s a bad guy.
When small children are saying she\'s a villain in her very first appearance, there\'s something wrong with how kids are being raised to view women -- that only certain types of behavior or certain ways of dress are allowed if you want to be considered "good", even if you haven\'t done anything wrong.
I think it has more to do with narrative convention then views on woman.
Protagonist has a love interest; said love interest is dating someone; Protagonist \'must\' end up with the love interest, so obviously the person the love interest is dating is a villain because that\'s the lazy, clean, guilt free way of resolving it.
I rather thought misleading the audience in this way was the point of the love triangle;
though I wish they\'d avoided the "Protagonist \'must\' end up with the love interest" part as well in season 1.
It should have resolved with \'Aftermath\' but instead it drags down the rest of the season, and Makos 180 made him seem kind of a prick.
The show actually had very adult humor and a clever plot and humor.
it has humor that appeals to a 5 year olds and unclever humor. compering old \'\'Sponge Bob\'\' to new \'\'Sponge Bob\'\' is like compearing \'\'Dumb and Dumber\'\' to \'\'Biodome\'\'
Nick is taking Korra off T.V. and making her an online show only??
I\'m I the only one not 100% convinced the "Bad Guys" are not totally actually evil, just misguided or possibly aware of something others are not.
Yes, they tried to kidnap Korra but why? maybe to protect her from say the influence of her evil Uncle, and maybe some corruption with-in the white lotus.
Yes, they escaped from prison but they left their captors alive and really relatively unharmed.
They have also seemed to go to great pains not to hurt the innocent or guards, heck I don\'t think I have even seen them attack first yet.
They already said they were going to destroy both the White Lotus and the Avatar. Regardless of their motivations, their intent is pretty clear.
Maybe Zaheer and his buddies are working for the earth queen. The reason I think this is that if Korra\'s killed, the next avatar after her will be in the Earth Kingdom giving the queen free reign to corrupt him or her and get the ultimate soldier for her army.
Nope. They definitely intend to take out the president of Republic City, it seems, but their stated goal in their original appearance was the Avatar and the White Lotus.
I can totally second you on the villains, I am really not sure how to place them. I can, however, say that I am enjoying them all. THey\'re like a Shadow Team Avatar or something.
I will also say this: taking Korra off the air, while good for fans who watch the show online, seems like a truly ignorant move on the part of Nickelodeon. They just don\'t know how to advertise the show, and are especially inept at catering to their adult audience. I look at the adverts for their other shows in between Korra, and they look like utter garbage in comparison.
I would be astounded if there weren\'t something more about the four villains. For one, the Legend of Korra does not do subtle, and these guys do not act like typical villains. They\'re not overpowered, they struggle in every fight, they\'re a fair match for the heroes and have so far lost every single meaningful encounter. Zaheer\'s biggest achievement so far is escaping.
That actually makes them much more compelling villains and much closer to Crown Prince Zuko than the likes of Unalaq, Tarlaq or our resident Villain Sue - Amon. However, like Zuko, they don\'t make for compelling "main antagonists." Either they\'ll make for secondary villains, or - and this is my guess - begrudging allies of the Avatar when it\'s inevitably revealed that their motives are more reasonable than we thought.
Frankly, these four are a good swerve but expect more traditional, more obvious villains at some point. And enjoy the four while they last. So far, everything about them has been fun. Except for Zaheer\'s voice actor. He\'s pretty dang bad.
They threw the waterbender lady\'s guards into boiling lava, for crying out loud! They\'re an amicable bunch, but they\'re not good guys.
I\'m with you, I think that\'s probably the big twist. Zaheer seems to be way zen for a villain, and he seems like a guy who has built up a lot of wisdom during his life. I\'m guessing he knows something no one else knows. And he\'s somehow come to the conclusion that the Avatar is a problem, somehow. Perhaps he feels that something is "off balance" somewhere, or there was some great injustice done to him or whatever the case may be.
Nickelodeon is run by a bunch of lumoxes, this is like back when they axed Making Fiends before it even properly began
People may bitch about Cartoon Network all they want, but Cartoon Network at least knows when it has something good
Also, new SponfeBob may be bad, but it isn\'t even nearly as awful as new Fairly OddParents, now THAT\'S a show that went down the drain (after season 3 to be exact)
Sanjay and Craig is OK, and far from the weirdest thing out there (if you want weird, check CN\'s Uncle Grandpa, or even Superjail on AS)
I em kinda looking forward to Pig Goat Banana Cricket, and maybe Bad Seeds
If they are at least as good as Sanjay and Craig, they may help to slowly replace the Sponge, and deliver the much needed mercy-kill to FOP
I\'m done with Nickelodeon now, Korra is gone, they refuse to show reruns of any of their shows besides Spongebob (which peaked with the movie), so now for my cartoons, I\'ll just watch Cartoon Network and Gravity Falls on Disney (until that show inevitably gets cancelled or runs out of steam).
It seems that Disney is moving all of their animation to Disney XD
At least all their new animated series this year are scheduled to air on Disney XD, leaving Disney channel only with Phineas & Ferb and Gravity Falls
I don\'t even watch Phineas & Ferb anymore, it got repetitive, which I know it\'s part of the joke, but I can only take so much. Cartoon Network is the only channel with multiple cartoons that I watch.
Spongebob used to be funny with more all ages humor, after season 3 and the movie, a lot of the writers left and it became a strictly child-friendly show that wasn\'t very funny at all.
I was also unfortunate enough to catch the last couple minutes of that witch show. It was a Cockatoo by the way, which is considered part of the parrot family. :P
Anyway, I\'m really glad that someone finally mentioned how Combustion Woman was actually arcing her shots around corners, which was something that Sparky Sparky Boom Man couldn\'t do in Last Airbender.
As far as the way Nick has been treating the show, it really makes me worry for the future of the franchise. I can easily see Nick using their own ineptitude as an excuse for shooting down any potential new series in the future.
Dear lord not this again. Theres nothing and I mean nothing hinting that Su would be a bad guy. What she did is what all characters do in every form of media. Its a trope come on I thought you guys knew better. She lied to Lin because Lin wants to keep the avatar locked up and not let her do her job. Korra knows this is her job and wants to handle it and its not like shes going solo.
So SU just lets her sister let her believe what she wants and tells korra to go handle her buisness. If she does end up a bad guy it would just be plan bad writing as said before there is no hints, winks nods or anything. It would just be random. It would make the whole lin getting closure with her family and getting character development feel so pointless.
Side note the lava bending is being done just by that one guy since previous episodes showed it. This episode was great and so far season 3 is the best of the 3 imo. The love traingle crap hurt season one and made it drag a bit and it seeped into season 2 again and that started having other things wrong with besides that. Season 3 seems so tight. Nothing feels wasted or dragged down and is going at a great pace.
Suyin could be sending Korra into Zaheer\'s hands. Also, there\'s an enlarged version of the circus photo floating around. A guy resembling Zaheer is seen carrying Su.
Frankly, I\'m one of the people who hated Season 2 so much I would never have watched more Korra if it weren\'t for your vlogs... And I still like Season 3. I mean the Airbenders episode was a snooze fest and we still don\'t exactly have a plot, but... All the characters are compelling. Korra\'s not a bitch any more - ACES for that. Mako\'s not an idiot, Bolin\'s not an idiot, Asami\'s not a victim. This is all good stuff!
My biggest problem thus far was the shitty resolution for the feud between Lin Beifong and Su-Yin, but this episode fixes that, as well. That resolution was easy because it\'s not complete yet, and we\'re still working with it. Good, because that was a horrible way to resolve the tension.
I hated Season 1, HAAATED Season 2, but Season 3 seems pretty good so far. Sure, Season 2 looked good for the first couple of episodes, but this has made it through eight and it\'s still going strong. Maybe there\'s hope for this show yet.
I dont get how its a crappy resolution. They argued and let off steam by fighting like siblings tend to do.This episode also shows while Lin is ok being apart of this family she still is iffy with her sister. Like making her sit down for the truth thing and aruging with her sister about what to do with the avatar and to be fair Lin was in the wrong on that argument. So its still going to take some times for lin to completly be at peace. Turning su evil would just be freaking stupid and bad writing.
Mako\'s not an idiot? Pretty sure his problem in season 2 was he was a huge ass. Thankfully, that has been remedied as well.
I don\'t think the resolution was "shitty" at all, but the rest, about it still being something being worked on, seems accurate.
I don\'t see what was wrong with season 1, but okay.
The Airbenders episode wasn\'t what I would describe as a "snoozefest". What was the problem with it exactly?
The plot is "find Airbenders, and avoid getting caught by the bad guys", as near as I can tell.
OK, the way Spongebob went downhill is the same way the Simpsons went downhill: The creators didn\'t give a shit anymore. They wanted the Movie to be the grand finale, but Nickelodeon thought the movie was suuuuch a big success, that they turned it from a simple comedy show (which, by the way, was actually kind of funny) to a cash cow franchise.
The reason why Spongebob sucks now is because the original creators left the show because they didn\'t want it to continue and go downhill, but Nickolodeon didn\'t want to throw away their main source of money so they hired talentless hacks to run new spongebob causing it to suck ass. Fortunately, the next Spongebob Movie has the original creators working on it, so I\'m looking forward to it.
I believe the original creators left after the spongebob squarepants movie (2004). Its been really bad ever since.
They have more talent than you.
I seriously don\'t find it bad, yes there are bad episodes, but every show has those, but I still find Spongebob entertaining.
only that Simpsons don\'t suck, they are just a bit stale
Wanna know how Spongebob went downhill? Check this out: https://www.youtube.com/ watch?v=3DhAdwuCyd8 (And check out his other reviews regarding this series to get even more of an idea)
Doug, if you even ever read the comments on your posts, then watch that link slashmaster28 sent, it just leads you some whiny angry 90s kid who rants about anything he doesn\'t like and hates others opinions, then expects to be taken seriously.
Even though he\'s praised cartoons from the 21st century before. He\'s also criticized episodes of cartoons he likes before and even praised a modern Spongebob episode, namely \'Sand Castles in the Sand\'. Oh yeah, he totally hates everything from the 21st century.
He still takes himself way too seriously and still doesn\'t respect others opinions, and is probably the most bias reviewer right now, even when he doesn\'t know it.
Funny, I\'ve never seen him respond negatively to opposing viewpoints before. But then again, Hewy Toonmore didn\'t seem all that bad until the day he threatened to block me just because I didn\'t care for the English Digimon theme song. You might be onto something. (Though to be fair, Hewy did at least learn his lesson when even his friends got after him for doing that)
Something I will add is that I\'ll admit, I don\'t think seasons 4 and onward are completely terrible. For instance, I\'m one of the few who actually liked Dunces and Dragons and I thought at least the first quarter of season 4 was decent. I also liked this other modern episode that was told completely in rhyme. (Can\'t remember the name) I also recently saw this one about a celebrity cat, which was okay. So I wouldn\'t say modern Spongebob is terrible as a whole. I\'ve just seen a number of instances where likable characters have become jerks in recent seasons. (Not to mention Atlantis Squarepantis was a huge letdown for me. I actually like musicals and yet that special really got on my nerves) Like your comment on page 2 says, the show is kind of falling under the category of modern Simpsons. Most of the episodes aren\'t anything special, but it does seem to be picking up. (Also, I\'ll admit, that stop-motion Christmas special was great)
I don\'t know when it jumped the shark but it jumped the shark a long time ago,but here\'s an example of when SpongeBob is downhill, when they had an entire Fox news segment on the show, to complain about Barack Obama. When Fox news is trying to use your show as their desperate attempt to insult a brilliant business plan, and improving the country, there is only one place you could go.
Also that was a stupid episode because, it was retreading all the old jokes, the reason why SpongeBob was fired was because of some stupid thing that Mr. Krebs, was trying to save money on and apparently now he is legally why to pay SpongeBob. And basically turning his bathroom into a pay toilet does not make more money, also apparently Mr. crabs only was expensive enough to have men bathroom area. Doug watch Mr. enter and you\'ll understand, and you really should since he does make reference to you! even uses the line F$#@ bubbles!
Haha, since you guys didn\'t grow up with Spongebob I can see why we all sound crazy talking about the "good old days" of the show. But during its first few years the writers actually made it a REALLY funny show. It was silly and ridiculous for sure, but the writers knew how to take the silliness and craft great jokes out of it. There are lines from Spongebob that my friends and I still quote today. We haven\'t seen the show in years, but these lines were so funny that they\'ve been etched into our collective memory. Maybe it\'s just because we grew up with Spongebob that we find it so funny, and maybe people older than us just won\'t enjoy it, but I think you two should at least take a look at some of the early episodes. You might be surprised with what you find, and maybe make some vlogs for that show too.
The fights were good but aside from that nothing jumped out at me except that Zaheer\'s gang failed again.
I\'m still puzzled about Zaheer and his team though, i mean the had the chance to off her right then and there. However they tried to take her with them.
And how does Zaheer know so much about the airbenders? He knows a lot about them and he already displayed some kickass airbending skills when he escaped from prison (i don\'t completely believe it was for plot convenience ).
There is something about him that intrigues me, i want to know what his deal is. Believe me i am not necessarily saying he is not evil, but maybe he has a alternative view on what is right and wrong.
Maybe something happened that they didn\'t show us yet that makes Zaheer look less bad and some of the people we grown to admire a little less shinny. Maybe a terrible mistake by Aang in the past, something not so admirable that needed to be done for the greater good )
I don\'t want to speculate to much, but i really wonder. It was a little to strange (IMHO) that they tried to take her alive seemingly at all cost.
Also, i declared Bolin the deathshot of legend of Korra, just saying
I seriously think Nickelodeon is trying to get rid of their older audience and focus on marketing strictly to little kids, with shows like Breadwinners, Sanjay and Craig, and modern Spongebob.
ALL of which are inferior to this show in terms of quality. But hey, they\'re just there to keep kids occupied instead of actually making quality programming, right? RIGHT?
well when you think about it lava bending is not impossible for an earthbender..I mean you only need to have a great control over the earth\'s molecules just make em "rub" together and friction does the rest since as we all know lava is molten rock...so friction=heat that means heat+rock = lava..and there you have it lava bending...perhaps it\'s something like blood bending not everyone can do it without help.
Bolins glee about lava bending makes me thing he will learn it, then see the horror of it and never use it again.
what could be horrifying about lavabending? It has a lot of destructive potential but that\'s it he wouldn\'t be reaching into someone\'s body and usurping their will just melting stuff.
I\'ll agree with you guys about the fight, that was amazing.
I hope Su isn\'t a bad guy, but if anything a little misguided. She\'s had time to reinvent herself and it seems like her thing is giving people second chances. Maybe Lie Detector guy was someone she gave a second chance and he was just waiting for an opportunity, who knows really. I thought his ability was quite neat, though!
And I hope Bolin learns Metal Bending... or the Magma Bending, wouldn\'t that be a twist.
The Lavabending was only being done by the earthbender, Ghazan. P\'Li (Combustion Woman) wasn\'t helping him with any firebending. However, apparently Lavabending can also be done as a combination of the two, which is what Avatars often use.
Also, Toph\'s unique earthbending style was based on Southern Chu Gar Praying Mantis. Most other earthbending is based on Hung Ga Kung Fu, which in itself is based on the movements of the tiger and the crane.
BTW, I\'m surprised they didn\'t talk about Varrick in this episode. He was definitely one of the highlights.
Nickelodeon is currently being run by complete morons ever since the SpongeBob Squarepants movie, or perhaps even farther back. Since then the ONLY saving grace to the whole network has been the Avatar series, and they don\'t even seem to realize it. They\'re soooo reliant on SpongeBob and now even Full House! And that ABOMINABLE show Every Witch Way? The most unprofessional show I\'ve ever seen in Nickelodeon\'s history. Get your shit together Nickelodeon! I really miss Herb Scannell. :(
Thing about Zaheer and his team is that they have got to have some sort of really powerful goal motivated by something they believe incredibly fiercely, and yet their really really secretive about what that belief and goal is.
The revelation of that belief is going to be what makes or breaks Zaheer and co as bad guy\'s
I agree and they can\'t be secret hypocrites. So far I am really unimpressed by them I hope it turns around.
If you really wanna know why people say spongeBob\'s so fucked up these days look up SpongeBob Toenail scene.
I don\'t even know if I should even be watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2012 TV Series) anymore, due to the treatment of Korra!
You know what, I\'m NOT watching anymore Nickelodeon after Korra airs its series finale.
Lava-bending was seen before (at his jailbreak) and it is clearly a form of Earth-bending. Lava is just molten rock. It is like Water-benders can also bend ice (frozen water).
I personally have the theory, that Bolin will not be able to master Metal-bending, but Lava-bending instead.
The last episode is called "Venom of the Red Lotus", hence I suspect that the villians are members of an Anti-White-Lotus order of some kind. They seem to have some hidden agenda and strong (philosophical) motivations for what they are doing. I am looking forward to the big reveal at the end.
Here\'s the thing about SpongeBob: if you were to just look at it (especially nowadays), you\'d assume it\'s just a dumb, immature show for kids. However, in its heyday, SpongeBob was one of the smartest, funniest, and most clever shows around. But after Season 3, the show\'s creator and writers moved on, and new writers took over who just wanted to make it the cutesy, stupid crap you see today.
I\'m not going to tell you to use any illegal means, and I don\'t know if Nick is streaming any of their episodes, but if they are, here\'s a few recommendations: "Band Geeks", "The Bully", "Chocolate With Nuts", or "Krusty Krab Training Video". Those are some great examples of the wit and charm the show used to have. As comedians, it would do you well to see this show at its peak before writing it off.
Spongebob was always stupid, and it was also dumb. But it\'s all for good fun. And quite frankly, it still kinda is, of course it lost some quality because guess what, it\'s been on for quite some time, but when it\'s hits, it\'s still awesome.
in Su Yin\'s intro episode, she did seem a little too eager for the Earth Queen to "step aside."
If you want to know how Spongebob is now, just check out some of TheMysteriousMrEnter\'s reviews on Youtube. Slashmaster28 already linked his "Demolition Doofus" review above. I also recommend "One Coarse Meal", "Pet Sitter Pat", "Top 10 Squidward Torture Porns" (no, not actual torture porn, just Squidward getting tortured for no reason besides Spongebob\'s or Patrick\'s stupidity) and "Top 10 Patrick\'s a Prick Episodes" (Patrick being malicious, stupid, or maliciously stupid).
As I said before, that guy is just a whiner who doesn\'t like anything that isn\'t pretty like MLP. (To be fair, he can have a just reason sometimes, but most of the time, it\'s just him getting angry for nothing, and being serious about it (temper problems much)).
If that\'s what you think about him, then you should watch his Admirable Animations series, which shows that he\'s not just a negative reviewer.
They do have a channel aimed towards teens. It\'s fittingly called "Teen Nick", however when i tuned it the channel felt more like "Pre-Teen Nick". It was just an ensemble of what Nick executives think teens like.
It sounds crazy, but the show really was outstanding for the first 3 seasons. Many jokes were the kind that had a second joke to them for adults and older kids to get, and it wasn\'t played up to be this stupid singfest or just overloaded with idiocy. Spongebob was generally level-headed in most episodes. They cranked up character personalities to the max after season 3, making Patrick unreasonably stupid, spongebob incredibly annoying, etc. All the writers left then, which is no coincidence.
It would actually be cool if you guys made vlogs of that, watch the first 3 seasons, talk about what you think of of it, and then watch whatever the newest season is and compare them. And talk about what crap kids today are seeing.
