Ok, this is THE best episode in season 3 so far hands down. I loved it and hated it. Here's a summary, then my analysis.
Kevin is beginning to lose all hope that he might one siku return to normal. Kevin is upset kwa his inability to change back to human form and he vents his frustration kwa blaming Gwen for her inability to help. He is Charmed kwa a beautiful girl who seems to understand.
Charmcaster, seeking to steal Gwen's powers, charms Kevin to trick her into walking into a trap. Despite discovering the ruse and coming prepared, Gwen is still drained of her power. Kevin tricks Charmcaster into returning to Ben and Gwen, allowing Gwen to reverse the spell and regain her powers. Gwen then sucks Charmcaster into a magical vortex. Afterward, Ben explains to Kevin that Gwen has been using every spare moment to find a cure for Kevin without telling him, leaving Kevin in a state of deep regret.
Alright! Many things to talk about! This episode was generally centered around Gwevin-really juicy. The main component was DRAMA! We all know Charmcaster from the original series, Ben 10. She came back in this episode and really-who was happy with her? In the old series, I thought she was pretty cool, but now she's just a boyfriend\power stealer! What I was ESPECIALLY P.O.ed about, was that she met Kevin and then two sekunde later she's kissing him! Gwen and Kevin haven't even kissed yet but this chick comes in and flaunts herself all over Gwen's man!(She wasn't really into cars either-she showed her unintrest when she just alisema "Oh" after Kevin alisema he was working on submergion.) It all was for Charmcaster's revenge on Gwen though, but she still ruined Gwevin.[Note]*Don't be alarmed! Alien Swarm takes place between season 2 and 3, so Charmcaster DOESN'T steal the first kiss;but I'm mad she took the first animated kiss.*
There was a lot of humor in this episode; parts that were really serious and bad were humorous and I wanted to laugh although I knew I shouldn't. For example, when Charmcaster charms Kevin and tells him to get Gwen to the usayaria, planetarium so she can steal her powers, Kevin says, "It might be hard getting her to come with me if I tell her that." Charmcaster: "Don't tell her that wewe simpleton!" AND Ben: "Thats nice Kevin. Whats next-kicking puppies?" Kevin: "This little outing was your idea. So wewe just lay there and work on your Ben tan."(pun) Ben: "Okay. I'll tan and wewe lighten up." LOLZ
It seems that in the episode, Kevin is completely the bad guy and doesn't like Gwen at all.(For the most part thats true) BUT! In in that humorous part I just mentioned when him and Ben are in an argument, he tells Ben no one is the boss of him. Then Gwen tells him to lighten up please and Kevin says, "Okay Gwen." This shows he is still whipped for Gwen (like he has been all along.) Remember the first episode Ben 10 Returns? Gwen: "Follow me." Kevin: "I'd follow wewe anywhere." Just remembered that and think it relates to Kevin being whipped. Kevin is so cute.<3 Back to this episode again. When Charmcaster is Caroline and is in the process of trying to kiss him at the beach, he defends Gwen kwa saying she is made of magic and hints he doesn't want Caroline. He still cares, but kwa the end of the episode, I KNOW he felt like a total a**.
When the kid called Kevin a monster at the beach, that is what set Kevin off. And the kids' voice actor is Greg Cipes. Again. STOP DOING THAT.
A really funny part that lightened the episode for a sekunde was Ben's fight with Mr. Smoothy. Ben asked the Omnitrix to work right so he could get Upchuck, then he did and alisema "This was the fight I was born for." He goes on to drink the smoothy monster, and (LOL!) Mr. Smoothy says in a high pitched girly voice, "No! Please! I'm half empty!"
Which this doesn't make sense; Upchuck could never ingest good foods, but he drinks a good smoothy. This was noticed kwa fans, and Dwayne McDuffie(the writer) answered on his wbsite that simply "now he can."
Ben was super annoying in the show. I was scared for him when he kept insisting on going everywhere with Gwen and Kevin when Kevin was charmed. I was at the point of thinking-watch yourself Ben! It'd be a good time to shut up! He got what was coming to him when Kevin grabbed him and threw him. Also, when he was complaining about the Omnitrix not working and saying Kevin has it easy; that was annoying and rude.
It's great that Gwen is still so strong. Even all the terrible crap she went through, she can still take care of herself. She was smart to keep the spellbook. She looked good in that black bikini too. (I'm not gay.)
Charmcasters meanness was her downfall. If she wasn't so mean to her rock minions, she could've had a chance of surviving the vortex.
The graphics are still great! There are so many details that are payed attention to in even the smallest scenes. The minor characters are also payed attention to, in the way that they have varied physical looks.
The ending scene was the most dramatic and when Kevin learns Gwen has been looking for a spell to cure him. Kevin knows everything now, and he needs to fix what he did to Gwen.

"She's gone. wewe hurt her pretty bad."
"I hurt her? I'm the one who looks like this and she hasn't done a thing about it."
"You are such a rock faced jerk!"
"Yeah. Whatever."
"NOT WHATEVER! She's spending every spare moment going through every magic book she can find to try and help you! She's been doing it since the accident."
