That is some WONDERFUL news, major, but still magical!!
Although, on a sad note, I must agree with Tom that in fact the rushing to detty might implicitly mean that it's the end of UB which is terrible!! Bittersweet news in retrospect... do we really want Detty so much, at the price of the show ending?!!

My answer to your question is YES! I do want it that bad! However I don't get why the Detty automatically means the end of the show??? The writers are very creative to write several storylines based on the Detty! They can create numerous obstacles and dilemmas!!! The Detty has to happen eventually! I'm sick and tired of the games!! If it is to delate it any longer it will never happen..Don't forget also the ratings! If they wait any longer the show might get the axe and we won't even have the chance to see some Detty action..At least a kiss damn it!

All hail to a kiss!!! Now you've mentioned something that I had not considered... By making DETTY happen perhaps it'll bring back some (plenty!!) viewers & raise the ratings = UB not cancelled! At first I thought, that making DETTY happen necessarily meant the end of UB, buy maybe it'll save the show & the writers by offering us a kiss/something non-friendly by the end of this season, will then be able to develop their relationship further in season 5: with lots of drama like we looove it!! coz the show will not have been axed, given the adios, yet! So perhaps, detty will SAVE the show & make it possible to have one more season which would be HEAVEN!! At least, we've the promise of DETTY happening!!! Maybe that's one of the reason why we've gotten so FEW & TINY detty scenes this season...coz they had planned detty happening THIS season!!
