In 2009, at the height of Jonas Brothers escalating popularity and produced a 3D tamasha movie, Nickelodeon decided to cancel Naked Brothers Band and even worst they decided to disband them. As a result only the name of the band was not used and they uses "Nat and Alex" as a new and independent band.

In 2013, history almost repeated itself. The same thing happened this time instead of Jonas Brothers, it is the British boyband One Direction. And BTR mashabiki started to speculate if Big Time Rush will be disbanded because of this coincidental patterns, their TV onyesha ended and solo projects came in...
