Ok. This may be hard for some to read. I'm 15 and I really feel like vitabu saved my life.
1. They're always an escape when things get low.
2. They took me places I thought I couldn't ever go.
3. When I used to get beat up, I could just open a book and feel better.
4. I didn't have to talk to a book, it told me a story instead. (I suffer from severe SAD au Social Anxiety Disorder)
5. They let me live in a different world for a while; I could try to forget all the problems I had.
6. When I Lost my aunt, I would pretend I could still see her in the characters I read about.
7. I never felt scared kusoma a book; I always felt like I could lose myself in a good story.
8. I used to get bullied really badly, and a book always helped me not think about it.
9. The kids who took my things and pushed me down didn't exist in books.
10. When I was contemplating suicide, I just read a good story book and I didn't feel like that anymore.
Without books, I don't think I'd be here anymore. And I upendo kusoma and writing. They've really helped me to recover from severe dysthymia(a form of chronic depression) and added some flavor to my life. Im sorry I felt like I had to voice this. vitabu are wonderful! If they can save me, they can save anyone!
