Celebrity biographer and uandishi coach, Randy Jernigan, this week admitted to a national radio audience that he has recently suffered total kidney failure, resulting in weekly dialysis and a drastic change in his life and schedule.

The 'Losing to Win!' mwandishi has been forced to postpone a number of professional commitments this month, explaining that his life was "turned upside down" when two moyo attacks and renal failure cause him to be placed on weekly kidney dialysis for his survival

"This mwaka has been a rough one for me,": the mwandishi confessed to his radio audience. "The good news is I'm back working and back nyumbani with my family and I'm taking care of my health issues and making great progress on my road to recovery," Jernigan added.

According to the American Kidney Fund website, "Kidney Failure, also known as end-stage renal disease, is the last stage of chronic kidney disease.

When your kidneys fail, it means they have stopped working well enough for wewe to survive dialysis au a kidney transplant," the site explained.

Randy is best known as a celebrity biographer, uandishi coach, and screenwriter. His 'The Life and Career of Marie Osmond' tome hit several best-seller lists and he recently released the cover art to his upcoming "Ellen DeGeneres" bio on his personal social media pages.
