I don't read the comics, but have heard about some of the plots in them. Most I'm ok with but others bother me and there have been some plots I've heard about that I don't think would have happened had the show continued that I don't like the sound of. For example, I heard there was a Buffy Xander hook-up. I don't care what was going on unless they were under a spell that just doesn't seem right for those characters. There is a reason Joss rejected the idea of those two together even though it was suggested to him a few times.

But the main one that bothers me is I've been hearing rumours (As I'm not into the comics I don't know for sure this is true, I hope it's not but in case it is I guess this could count as a spoiler, though if you're doing this pick you don't read the comics so I guess it doesn't matter, lol) that Harmony will be getting her own TV show and becoming a celeb Vampire in the comics. If that is going to happen I hope it's a dream or a spell or something, because that's just damn stupid. They would never have done a plot like that in the show, because it's not up to the show's standards. It's a silly idea. (and not 'beer bad' silly, just ridiculous)

i dont read the comics. i like the way it ended in the 7th season. it ended great. and then it kept going in the 5th season of Angel. so it wasnt fully over.

First of all:

The supposed "Xander-Buffy hook-up" was a fever dream Buffy had when she was put into a magical coma by Amy. So it never happened. After they kissed, Xander's head fell off and bounced. Which made it clear that it was a dream.

I haven't heard anything on the Harmony front. She DID do a side comic appearance on The Colbert Report as a "Dark Horse Presents" special, but that's not part of the official comics.

Not disagreeing with you, just setting what you heard straight. Since I do read the comics, I can't answer the question.
