Not Angel, because Joss has said he's only using Angel and Spike sparingly, and right now they're in their own comics, and from what I've heard different companies own the rights to Angel and Spike and the others and they're not allowed to crossover into other comics, which is why no Buffyverse character has and probably will not appear in After the Fall. It might be Riley, Joss has mentioned he wanted to bring him back in.

The rights issue is true, but DHC is trying to "fix" that in the future. I believe "After the Fall" is planned for a twelve issue arc, after which time DHC may try and get the rights back. Since the Season 8 storyline plan is currently 60 or so issues (and growing) that leaves plenty of time for the boys to get back in the mix. That being said, I don't see it being either of them. Even if they did have an issue with what Buffy did in empowering all potentials, I gotta imagine either of them would have addressed it a bit more directly. Although I can see why Riley could be a suspect, the way Twilight spoke to and of Buffy doesn't fit with any of the men we know; at least the living/intact ones. His word choice when speaking to her implied a feeling a superiority, and possible sexism.

I was thinking maybe Ethan too. I know Riley's kind of out there for a choice.. but it's possible that he's become jaded. I definitely think it's someone that we've met before because of the teasing with the mask. Otherwise, why not just show his face?

I completely agree with nosemuffin. If it -is- a new face, why the suspense? Although I seriously doubt it's Riley... I can't picture farm boy spouting Twilight's lines.

It's gotta be Riley, thats why he's so on the nose when he verbally dissects her ala Hannibal Lecter. Looking at the slayer army from the outside they are a threat to the status quo and see themselves above normal humanity, I see Riley jumping on this right quick. Also I really hope when we do finally see him he has all black eyes from the magics being used.

I was thinking Caleb also, that whole "I know that move" thing he said when Buffy did the scythe to the crotch definately got my attention, plus he's showing off the black clothing. Definately sexy sexist priest.

i dont think its riley, in one of the issues with the reappearance of oz its show riley and twiliight in the same room so thats impossible, so i honestly dont know cuz at one stage i thought it could be riley too.

OK. If I really had to think about this, I would say I do not have a clue. There are several suspects. I don't think it's Riley, because he's supposedly under the allegience of Twilight. At first, I did guess it was Caleb. He is the obvious suspect. I mean he died way too easily for a so-called Big Bad. But for some reason, it doesn't click; like how did he gain the ability to fly and use magic? Even with the help of the First Evil, I don't even think he can do that? Then, I started going way out of the box and thinking it was Buffy herself, but like an evil Buffy from another dimension, or a male version of Buffy; think about it: male slayer who is completely opposite to Buffy, but posesses the same fighting techniques and skills as her. Lol, nah I'm probably just over-thinking it
