Midnight. Meg had finally fallen into a deep sleep. For the last few hours she had tried to sleep, but every time she closed her eyes she saw Cas’ mutilated face and his glowing eyes judging her. Eventually she had become so tired she had no choice but to give in to the weariness.
She felt her back hit the ukuta and soft lips kissing hers passionately. Strong hands went through her hair.
She opened her eyes and found herself staring at Cas, but this time he was unscarred.
