MY FAITH IS SHOOK UP AGAIN! HELP!

To answer this, I'll just quote a pick I recently made here: Science can answer a lot of "how" questions, but not many "why" questions. Think about it - maybe there's a REASON why our brains need to focus on a higher power to relieve stress. If the need exists, there must be something to fill it, something REAL. And the God-shaped hole in our hearts is no exception.

Why do we feel emotion? If the answer is "chemicals in your brain", then why do the chemicals act that way? Why does our brain react the way it does? Why do we ask questions? Why do we yearn to explore and discover? Why do we imagine and create, and why do we find joy in those things? Chemicals and mere animal instincts sure can't accomplish all that stuff kwa themselves. There has to be a greater answer, a greater purpose to it all. And THAT'S where God comes in.

Science certainly has its place, and I believe we should never write it off just to feel zaidi comfortable about our faith. But once wewe realize that science is just another way for God to reveal Himself to us, you'll see that there's no reason to fear it au to let it shake your belief in God. It's okay if you're really having serious doubts; I think we ALL go through that at some point. But don't let those doubts cripple you, and don't be afraid to test your faith. One of the great things about Christianity is that it's a very sound faith. It can handle pretty much anything wewe throw at it. ;-)

If nothing else, remember this: science can only take wewe so far, all kwa itself. But when wewe add God to the equation, everything adds up. ^__^ I hope my answer helps. DON'T PANIC! IT'S OKAY! xD

Just relax and think about it a min. How did we get here then...Who created everything...God is real and he believes in wewe even if wewe don't in him..The devil is messing with your mind. He specializes in that. He wants wewe to be confused and doubt God. Whether wewe believe in the devil au not if he can get wewe to not believe in God then your his when wewe die cause heaven au hell is the only place wewe will go. when wewe read crap like that just laugh cause it is really funny. People come up with stupid stuff.

God created our brains. wewe shouldnt believe what people say right away. look at the Bible, there are lots of stuff there that really did happen and will happen. what do those scientists have to say about that?if they ask "have wewe even seen, tasted, smelt God" wewe say, "oh yeah, have wewe did any of those stuff to your brain?". dig deep and wewe will have faith in God zaidi than wewe do in that science magazine makala which was written kwa a person who abused the free will and knowledge God has granted us.

I agree with dearheart. Another thing I look at is if there was no God, the world would be in zaidi chaos. How would we know right from wrong? How would we know what moral meant? How about love? Hope?
